Best auto repair shop in Huntington, West Virginia (WV) 2024

I would give zero stars but google needs at least one to make a post. My family done business with them for years until here recently. My parents had to order a brand new motor and arm for the windshield wipers in April of 2021. In May of 2021 my father passed and after getting through the services my mom went to check on the parts. They used every excuse possible. She called every other week checking and one guy told her it was stuck in the middle of the ocean on a freight! REALLY? After complaining and calling they informed her they were getting in the same make and model car and the parts were still good. She took her car down desperate and thinking they would refund her the money on the brand new part she had ordered. They did not! Instead, the guy had thrown the part away and still charged her for labor and etc. Here it is June of 2022 and they still have not received or replaced the part but instead of taken advantage of my elderly mother and just kept charging her! We have receipts of everything they have done and it is truly disgusting on how they treat their customers, especially those that had been loyal to them over the years. I called to speak with the manager and the guy informed me I could not because I was not the owner of the car. My mom took her car out to the store not knowing it was suppose to rain later on. On her way home a heavy storm came ripping through and she almost wrecked due to having only one wiper. This business is not a business just a group of scammer that takes pride in ripping off their customers! They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau and I suggest anyone else that has had issues dealing with them should do the same. ~LeAnn

Roger and his crew at Ward's Automotive are fast, kind, AND honest! My car recently broke down and Ward's was truly the only shop willing and able to repair it (I thought my clutch blew, but they informed me that only the axle needed replaced, and for $1000 less than what the clutch would've cost! You cannot find honesty like that anywhere, especially at a dealership - & no other place around is willing/able to even look at Honda clutches!). Knowing I didn't have another transportation option, they got the job done in impressive time and let me know as soon as it was ready. I'm so grateful to Ward's and would highly recommend them for any repairs & maintenance work. They went above and beyond! They made what should've been a stressful situation so much easier on me and charged me a very fair price! I will be returning! Service: Steering & suspension repair ~Kassy

Do not get your oil change at this place. My girlfriend took her car here to get a routine oil change about three months ago. She was driving on the freeway today and her car started to shake and stall. Took it to a mechanic and they said that her oil level was very low and looked like it hadn't been changed in a very long time. No leaks or anything, just a straight scam. These guys are lazy crooks who don't care about anyone. Never take your car there. Service: Oil change ~Dylan
