I just had ANOTHER great experience with Guilbeau’s Pharmacy! Yesterday one of my doctors called in a new medication which she suggested. Later, I got a call from Ruthie, one of the pharmacists, who wanted to make me aware of the $99 Co-pay on this drug. While I was on the phone with her, she apologized for putting me on hold to handle another matter, which wasn’t a problem. (Apparently good pharmacists are great multi-taskers.). On her return she went on a web search for a discount ir a coupon which might save me money, spending quite a bit of time doing it. Her extensive search yielded no help. I was impressed by the effort! In the end, after consulting with my doctor, we decided not to use this particular medication. Ruthie is just one person, of many, who delivers outstanding, personal service. Guilbeau’s continues to be the best pharmacy experience we have had in over 50 years of dealing with pharmacies all over the Southeast United States. I highly recommend them to all.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! My mother was in failing health and unable to keep track of her medications. Ruthie met with me one day after I called, asking about blister packs for my mom's scripts. She took her time, took notes and we set up my mom with their delivery service to receive her medications. Every time my mother's physician's would change the medications, the wonderful folks at Guilbeau's adjusted the blister packs and made sure that my mother had all of her medications easily accessible. The folks here, especially Ruthie were so helpful and put me at ease that I cannot say enough good things about this pharmacy. Their delivery was on time, every time and they have such a wonderful system to notify their clients of when they will be making the delivery to those folks that are unable to pick up their scripts.

Not being able to receive what I needed from the local Walmart Pharmacy (on backorder), they were kind enough to call around and see if there was another establishment that did have it for one of my toddlers. I came to Guilbeau's because of this and this only. Yesterday is when this happened, I received nothing but amazing service at the window. The young lady had brown hair, and I was asked for my name, child's name and date of birth. She gave me the medicine after I WAS GIVEN their tablet FOR ME TO SIGN for verification, and I was on my way. Today, I went again as my infant (separate child) obtained the same medicine from our physician. Knowing the Walmart would not have it, and having a pleasant experience just the day prior, I asked them to send it to Guilbeau's. I went today through the drive through again, and there were 2 young ladies this time who looked me up and down. As soon as the window opened I stated my infant's name and date of birth, to which she didn't catch it all (I guess after starting so hard), and asked me for the date of birth again. Now she's smiling politely, but her Co worker is just standing on the side watching me, and it was a bit odd, but at the time, I'm not thinking too much about it. Until, the young blonde woman returns with the medicine, asks if he has any allergies, I say no and hands me the medicine. I'm waiting with my hand out knowing I'll have to sign for it, when she asks what my name is again so SHE can sign for it. I looked puzzled because I don't know why I can't sign my own name when I did just the day before. Don't the have laws against signing for other people? Reading between the lines, I just told her my name and left. She made me feel like she didn't want to hand me that tablet to sign my own name because of what she saw which has nothing to do with me picking up my medicine. After all, I am a black woman driving in a Grand Marquis and she's never seen me around. If you act like that, you shouldn't work for public.🤷🏾♀️ I only gave 2 stars, one for the fact that they had the medicine we needed in stock, and one for the kind young lady from yesterday that didn't know me, but treated me with excellent customer service.

These people were so kind to us. They went out of their way to make certain we were comfortable. We wish they were in Lafayette. If they were, we would us them as our regular pharmacy.

Coming home after 20 years away I find it daunting when trying to find trustworthy businesses. Guilbeau s Pharmacy is trustworthy and so much more. The staff makes each customer feel important and cared about. Guilbeau's staff is friendly, polite and will go out of their way to help.

Very well decorative, clean, warm and inviting environment. Prices are great ( great bread pudding and coffee). There is a young woman, named Dedra who runs the coffee shop. She has such a great personality and makes you feel like a long lost friend. She will be the reason I will keep coming to Guilbeau's.
