Cashier was very rude. I was going to put my chip in and she told me to slide it and I told her I had a chip and her reply was "well as long as I have worked I have never seen a gold chip" then after I was finished she didn't bother to put my 2 items a bag. I have never had good service at this store! Please someone save this store!! 🙏🙏🙏

On June 20, 2014 at approximately 5:30 PM, I tried to purchase several items at the Family Dollar store at 1633 Airline Hwy in LaPlace, La. I put $5.00 on the counter while looking down and counting out pocket change. When I looked up, the young cashier had her hand out. Since she wore thick glasses, I thought she might be visually impaired and told her that the money was there. She replied "my hand be right here" and demanded that I put the money in her hand-refusing it otherwise. I was so startled that I asked for the manager. She did not ask the young woman to take my money. I then asked for the phone number of her manager. She gave me a fake one. It is sad to see such poor service and to know that the young cashier is being so poorly trained in common courtesy and business procedures. The young lady will probably never make more than minimum wage with that type behavior.
