I’ve been in here several times the last few weeks to buy multiple cans of paint. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. They even lightened some paint I thought may be too dark. They were very busy when I’ve been in and they hustle and do their best to take care of everyone.

I use this as my back up SW store (on Gentilly since it is closer to my place). If 3 is average, then 4 is above average -- and this is good/fine/satisfactory. I read one of the reviews "that she was ignored" after being overlooked. I get it, but I wonder how the overall experience is. The amount of emotional intelligence people possess is outstandingly low, which creates turmoil in our communities, politics, and in general life. Sigh. So my 4-star is good. When the SW-Gentilly store is out, happened twice, they have it here. I hope the Reserved White "matches" since color varies between store-to-store. I used the store in Metairie (also reserved white) off of Airline and Causeway, and the shade was definitely different. Instead of a white-gray hue, it was more of a white-light tan (than gray). Anyway, I am satisfied both times I have been here. Thanks and happy painting.

Quick and easy shopping! I stopped by for a small can of paint and was in and out in five minutes. The staff was helpful and friendly, making the color process a snap.

Employees were involved in personal conversations or assisted customers that entered the store after me. I was totally ignored! This was the second time I was in this store and there will not be a third!!

I would like to share my experience here so hopefully a regional manager will read this. I went to the local store near my house on Canal Blvd at 6 pm. The door was locked and lights were on. I walked around thinking thats weird it closes at 7. Got into my car and was on the phone for 5 minutes. A woman named Latrizia came and opened the door. She did not say sorry, or excuse me or even acknowledge me. Then I went to check out. She answered the phone right when I was walking up. She stayed on the phone for literally 20-25 minutes. At about the 20 min mark, I said " I have to go, can you help me?" She said VERY rudely "Mam, I can not hang up on this customer. I said "I am a customer too, right in front of you. " Then she kept talking another 5 minutes, then she hung up and I said " You could have at least said sorry for the wait. " She said "No, mam, you need to patient and wait." She talked over me and would not listen. I said "Can I finish?" I said you could be a little friendlier with your customer service like right now and when you locked the door. " She just kept arguing with me. And this Latrizia woman looked like she hated her job and the world and was incredibly rude, and this is an understatement. Why is this acceptable for her to treat a customer like this? I know this is a paint store but you advertise smiling agents etc, the person there being paid to work for you should be half way friendly to every person that walks in that store. That was a horrible experience and I hope to find someone above her. When I said "Where is the manager" She said "I am the manager" Acting like no one will talk to her about her horrible attitude. And she knows she will get away with it. JUST HORRIBLE experience. And this woman looks like she wants to kill someone. Awful!!
