Was searching for something to eat, and came across this place. The dining room was empty (but that was because it was between rush hours), but I only had to wait a little less than a minute before I was seated. I ended up trying a basic pepperoni just to get a feel for the place. My goodness, it was so delicious!! From the well balanced marinara sauce, to the 2-day aged dough, the flavor all combined to create some of the best pizza I have ever had. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious handmade fire oven pizza.

I am both a beer and a pizza aficionado. I grew up in the New York/ New Jersey area so know good pizza when I see it. This is very good pizza. And the beer is great too. Most of all, the atmosphere is always fun, energetic, and inviting, in part due to the great people they hire to serve you and cook for you.

Utility Brewing Company is a must stop in downtown Ruston. Everything there is awesome. I love the vienna salad and there's not a bad pizza on the menu! There are a variety of beers brewed right there on site and small menu of cocktails. There is inside and outside seating. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I went here for the 1st time last week for a Meet & Greet with my employer and coworkers. The service was GREAT and the food was even better. I'm going back for the mushroom pizza! That was the best mushroom pizza I've ever had. 😋

Love to go here. Nice indoor or outdoor dining. Both pizza & beer very good. Nice to have something like this around here!

Excellent chewy pizza crust. I got the margherita and the ingredients are top notch. Fun environment. Hard to seat a big group. Bar seating available.

The pizza was not as the hype made it out to be. Mine may have just been one of those bad ones, but my pizza was extremely greasy. And the dough was soggy after less than 5 mins be served. The cheese bread just didn’t have much flavor and it had the same situation as my pizza. Maybe some added garlic or something to the crust would make it a little better. Although the pizza was still edible, I did eat the whole thing so it wasn’t bad. Very average thin crust. The staff however were very nice and well caring. My drink was always refilled, they gave great recommendations, and were very lively.

I don't know if I should start with their wood-fired oven pizza or their selection of craft beers. I'll start with the beers, as did I. They've got a roughly rotating selection of local craft beers on tap, including an IPA, a hefeweizen, a stout, and a few citrusy ales. All quite good, all quite tasty. But what good is beer without food? Their pizzas are the perfect size, and delicious to boot. I had the November monthly pizza, and given the veggies and lightness of the pizza, it almost felt like healthy food. Hell, it probably was. The folks were friendly and attentive, as well. Honestly, a brick-walled, wood-ceiling, cement-counter, beer-n-pizza establishment that's worth visiting for either, and especially for both!

Good beers and pizza. Courteous staff and nice atmosphere. Hopefully we can sit on the patio the next time we visit. If you are in Ruston, stop by.

Decided to go with the Smokey Pig and Downtown Pizza. They were both excellent. Really fresh ingredients with a perfect thin crust. The Smokey Pig has the right BBQ taste balanced with right amount of heat. The Downtown has more of a cheesy flavor; really good! Great service too!
