The atmosphere in the back is not that great and table was small and wobbly. We tried to sit in the front in a booth but it was too tight. The fried foods like fish and shrimp were great. The drinks were not consistent but pretty good and a great value. The char grilled oysters were okay but not the best we’ve had. They weren’t really all that charred and the sauce was a bit odd, kinda of a gravy. I had the tuna steak Caesar salad which was good but the tuna was a bit overcooked. The only real miss food wise was the rice dressing which was more of a boudin filling.

Food was stellar! I personally had the seafood pasta which was delicious! The other seafood dishes my family had wad tasteful as well! I recommend to anyone in or outside of Baton Rouge. On top of that the place fit the seafood genre perfectly and the patio was also pleasant & nice as well!

Pretty good place for comfort food. Portions are super generous and the cole slaw was surprisingly great. What we order was pretty much fried food but they have plenty of other options to choose from.

This was my first time eating at Parrain's Seafood Restaurant. My best friend treated me here for my Birthday. I really enjoyed the food. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. I feel Parrain's Seafood Restaurant is a great place for all types of celebrations. I'm elated my friend brought me here. I definitely plan on visiting Parrain's Seafood Restaurant soon.

The best food I've had in Baton Rouge. The fried gator & boudin balls were top notch. The gumbo was the best I've ever had. The crawfish etouffee was amazing. I'll definitely return. Only complaint would be that there was one water for about 10 tables in our area & he was doing the best he could.

We love coming to Parrain's when we drive through Baton Rouge. The hosts are welcoming, the staff is helpful and polite, and the overall atmosphere is just inviting. Our orders consistently consistently meet expectations, and we always leave looking forward to coming back.

The wait was short (less than 30 minutes) on this Wednesday night dining in experience. Our appetiser of crab stuffed mushrooms was delicious and not overfilling. Our server, Abigail, was knowledgeable about the different questions we asked regarding the food. She made sure the beer kept coming to the table and she was managed multiple large and small tables well and speedily - always with a great disposition. Our food came out hot and DELICIOUS! Definitely a nice place to go for a unique experience and I would go back again if in the area! Yum!

My wife and I checked this place out on a whim while staying in Baton Rouge and it was packed when we got there on a Wednesday night. That along with the delicious aromas in the air as we walked up had me thinking they MUST have something good goin on. That was an understatement to say the least because they most certainly did not disappoint. The food was delicious the staff was friendly and the ambiance was perfect for this place. If you're just passing through Baton Rouge or you're a local who's never been I HIGHLY recommend you check em out. I know I'll be back!

A staff was excellent. The food overall just did not have a lot of seasoning that night. It just was not great for the price. The bread pudding was extremely good though.

Consistent quality food, drink and service. This place is our go to and it does not disappoint!! So many good things on the menu and the portions are very fair and the flavors are very yuuuummmm worthy!! A great selection of draft beers and cocktails that hit the mark. We LOVE Parrain's!
