Manager is rude. I was told the mask policy changed. When I asked questions to clarify he came out of the back office yelling at me and posturing aggressively. The girl at the front desk was even shaking her head as I asked what his deal was. The front desk person explained that although i was simply asking questions other people had been argued the policy and that is the reason he was so unprofessional with me. Maybe it was just a bad day but Salt Pump climbing company in Scarborough Maine is way better. Cleaner, smells better nicer environment.

Have been a member since 2015 & I have remained one because I appreciate the community (evo) provides. They take into account as many people as possible when building programs and policies to support inclusivity and safety. I would be remiss for not mentioning my absolute love of Wednesday nights for #WomenCrushWednesday #senditsister And Thursday night LGBTQ+ Let’s not forget adaptive programming. Can’t wait for the citizen comp, struggle bus, to return. Thank you Evo!

This is a nice climbing gym! It's mostly focus on top roping which is not what I usually go for, but they have a little bouldering area as well that I thought was nicely set up. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and well maintained. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again!

Very friendly staff. Climbs are very interesting. The bouldering area is closed for a comp coming up, but by the sound of those setters, it will be a great one!

Overall, this place was SUPER fun. It had higher walls than I've climbed before, and a great selection of 5.6 through 5.14. I spent less time bouldering but it seemed to be the more popular area of the gym. The only thing I didn't love was that the liquid chalk was very expensive and a necessity to use. That said, they supplied some bottles for free use as well. Overall, indoor climbing here was fantastic!

$20 for a day pass with ladies' night on Wednesdays means it's pretty affordable to come here with friends on a weeknight! They have a cap of 50 people right now, so we called ahead to make sure we wouldn't be bringing them to capacity (you can also check the site). The bouldering section isn't huge but it's nice, wish the routes were slightly better labeled / consistently tagged with v#s. The top rope section was much larger. There's also an upstairs weight room and treadwall, which we didn't use. Good, friendly service, cool-looking swag. Fun times!

Climbing is supposed to have a moment of awe, every time; whether it’s the view or that feeling of a successful send. EVO is big enough, open enough, & just plain cool enough to bring a little bit of awe inside. There’s multiple routes for everyone, kids stuff, crazy & fun bouldering problems, & walls tall enough to induce some arm shaking. Best of all, the vibe is inclusive (no small feat in climbing gyms), & staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Good gym have to pass a belay test in order to belay, some auto belays, boulder wall. Not super beginner friendly but classes n stuff available.

Great bouldering wall and expansive belay courses. Not too pricey, and very helpful staff.
