This review is long overdue. As a board game hobbyist, I'm extremely thankful that Diversions is in our community. Admittedly, I don't come as often as I used to since we moved out of Portland but I try to stop in when we are in the area. Travis and Drew have helped us find a number of new games over the years. I probably wouldn't have given Quacks of Quedlinburg a try without them and that game has been a huge success with friends. I still feel like a big kid every time I go inside and I typically despise shopping.

If you're looking for anything game or puzzle-related (or even interesting kid's toys!), this is your place. The staff is incredible: every single person that works there is friendly and shockingly/impressively knowledgeable. Additionally, they're very helpful in finding something that fits your needs, regardless of gaming experience or interest level. Their selection is better than anywhere else I've been, their prices are fair, and they're a small local store that feels good to support.

This place was an accidental find on our Maine weekend getaway. If it weren't for the time constraints, we would have loved to demo some of their board games. It's a great place to get gifts for people of all ages. There are board games for kids and adults. They have an option for you to test try most of the games they sell. The staff are knowledgeable on the products as well.

Every time we come here the customer service is outstanding! We have to give a shout out to Connor, he's the nicest person and always engages our kids when they want to talk about games, and is willing to talk with the kid in me. Will continue to come back, thank you to the crew. Oh by the way, the reward system rocks, and sopo diversions has a awesome selection, so good luck choosing!

Phenomenal! One of my family's favorite places to find a new game for us to play together, shop for gifts, or just hang out when we are in the mall area (in non-pandemic times). The staff is amazingly kind and knowledgeable and always patiently answers our questions and offers recommendations. We love the rewards program and the used game sale too. I hope and pray they make it through the pandemic. 💛💛💛
