The movers went above and beyond to get all our furniture where we wanted it. They were friendly and fun to be around for two days between loading and unloading, and the office staff were really helpful in getting all the paperwork for our move figured out. Thank you! We had some some very challenging pieces to move, along with some heavy work shop equipment. The Team that came out to move it all was very professional, had a can do attitude and went to getting it done. They complimented us on how we labeled. packed and organized out boxs to help them. Absolutely amazing job by this group with Mike Hudgins in charge. Crew completed entire moving process in 31/2 hours !!! Great teamwork , very friendly , cautious with special items , no moving issues , and really made us so relieved that this was all accomplished. Will recommend this company to anyone interested. We had never used movers before, so we were very nervous about putting our long distance move from Maryland to Florida in the hands of movers. We had heard horror stories, but, Hampden Moving and Storage was wonderful to work with. The person they sent out to check everything out and estimate the costs (Link) was there on time, was personable and answered all my questions. Then, Kelly, the coordinator for the move was excellent and very patient with me. She told me everything to expect and when. Then, moving day came, and the person handling our move, Porter, and his entire team were excellent. They were cordial, pleasant, and extremely careful with all of our belongings. They padded everything and took great care with everything. Porter continued to our new place in Florida and had a different team. But again, they were all wonderful and careful with our belongings, and also took great pains not to damage walls and floors. As far as I can tell, everything arrived and is in good shape. I would highly recommend this company.
