Very good clothing store with an amazing selection. This location has an excellent variety of styles, and options. The only negative is the same negative about any J Crew, the prices are very high. Even the sale prices are not truly impressive.

Customer Service, I do not think they know what that is. I realize the Holidays can be hectic. However, as a customer it is quite hectic for us too. I visited the Montgomery Mall location on Saturday 12/22. I had a wedding which require a very particular material for the suit. Luckily J.Crew carries a herringbone tweed suit. Unfortunately, the two suits that were ordered from another company Weeks in advance were lost or not delivered. So J.Crew was my only hope to turn it around. I was at the Montgomery Mall first thing in the morning and found the style I needed, but not the size. When I asked the associate if she could check with another location I was told, "I'm sorry but we cannot check the availability of other locations, matter of fact we have been asked not to call other locations given the holiday season"... DEVASTATED but I thought nothing of it. So I tucked my tail and moved on to another location. I realize now that it was more effort then they were willing to supply to ensure I was satisfied with my experience there. I want to first praise the service I received at the Tyson's Corner location, and they will be receiving a 5 star review on their page for the following reason. I walked in and was immediately asked the reason for my visit. I explained my situation and he immediately attempted to help supply me with options. The associate Andrew realizing I needed something very particular OFFERED to call another location to see if they had the available size for me. He then came back and told me it was available at the Reston location. I asked Andrew if he would mind calling back to have them set it aside for me, his response "I already asked them to hold it for you". WOW Andrew at the Tyson Corner location saved the day. THANK YOU ANDREW at the Tysons Corner J.Crew location. He didnt give me some line about his hands being tied by the companies policy and the holidays, he didnt make me feel I was a burden. Tyson Corner will get my business from now on, more than willing to drive the additional 20 - 30 min. Shame on Montgomery Mall, I hope someone actually reads these reviews and discusses their customer service practices with them.

I have been a J. Crew customer for 15 years. However, it has changed a lot in the past year, the styles are not as they used to be, the qulity dropped, the prices stayed the same and the customer service - unbelievably bad. I tried to return something today, and the sale rep told me I can not return it because I just exceeded the return period. This never happened to me before. Not to mention the store was full of new sale reps that had no grace and no skills. Made it feel like I was in a cheap tavern ordering a hamburger. Such a dissapointment.
