Well, My windshield got smashed, my deductible is $500, and the cost for a new windshield was $500...so I was like, "f*!k it, let's go to Safelite." The first time they put the windshield on, it was crooked. I pitched a little fit, and was like, "Yo! I gave y'all $500, make this right." So, within a few days, they totally took care of everything. Now my windshield is perfect, and everything was the standard price of $500. Plus they cleaned my windows. I'm happy with the service they provided. Plus the Bethesda Safelite is within walking distance of the Red Line Bethesda Metrorail Station.

Replaced my windshield on Toyota rav4 2019 with no technical issue. If my Toyota dealer don’t say their work if solid I wouldn’t come here. However, management and communication in this shop is far from best! All the mess happens when manager is not there (I booked for Fridays). No appreciation of customer private time. I took hours from my work two Fridays in a raw just to to receive a phone call 30 min after I drop off my car that my windshield was not arrived/found. Why don’t you check prior when you have 3 weeks for that? Why a lady said to me the work takes 1 h when in fact it’s 2-2.5h (have to check the vehicle type)? Surprisingly, when I came the others Friday to pickup the undone car, a worker took time moving a vehicle blocking mine to recheck the papers when he realized that actually my new parts are here. Bingo. I wish I had chosen another shop.

Terrible and unprofessional service. Find any other safelite. In January my windshield broke. I scheduled an appointment. After I got to my appointment and dropped my car off 3 hours later they told me that the windshield that they were going to replace it with was cracked and I had to go back to Bethesda, which is not easy when you don't have a car, and pick my car back up. It took them 3+ weeks to get a replacement. While they were replacing my windshield they broke the casing to my rearview mirror. I had to schedule an additional appointment to replace the casing that they broke. My appointment was at 8 am, I called to see if they had the part for my rearview mirror, but couldn't contact them until 8 am, and to save my time and gas and not show up to safelite and for them to turn me away because they do not have the part, which is something that this horrible safelite would do, the person on the other line said I had to make it there by 8:15 am or they'll reschedule my appointment. I am already upset because they are the ones who broke my rearview mirror casing in the first place and she was short with me, I said I couldn't make it by 8:15 am and she hung up on me without telling my if they have the part. Update she also hung up on my dad when he called without telling him if they have the part.

The service was excellent. Jonathan was the best on his job. Replaced the broken glass and cleaned the broken glass. 'A' class service. But, the young lady at the front desk was not welcoming. Refused to run a quote for the windshield of my Mitsubishi Outlander and just told me that it is above $500. She asked me if it is insurance or out of pocket, I told her that I am gonna pay it..and that is when she said $500+. I said you didn't even bother to check it , do you ? And she said no. Asked her name and she said Ciarra/ Sierra. But I did the it online and it is only 351( with offer of $20) . I want to take an appointment but I don't want to talk to her again. Other than that 100% perfect. The owner of NV200, Nissan.

Very disappointing. I had an afternoon appointment for mobile service at my home. Took off work after I got the confirmation email the night before that they would be here between 12 and 5. They then texted and emailed that my tech was "on the way".at 1020 am. I then received a calendar update that indicated the tech would arrive between 1 and 2. Tech never showed. Was here the entire time, had the keys in the car just in case, never got a call. Then they rescheduled without telling me for Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend. I chatted with a safelite customer service rep that indicated the manager would call or email me this evening (after indicating that I missed an in shop appointment; I pointing out that I was looking at the work order that indicated mobile service, pre paid, at my house for today). I am sure that if I wait around Saturday afternoon that they will show up then. Yeah. Right. Go somewhere else for your glass. ANYWHERE else. Can't trust these jokers. Totally unprofessional. EDITITED ADDITIONAL INFO: After reading the response to this post from the owner, it is apparent that whatever was told to me in chat yesterday was unproductive: You have my number to call me directly, don't put it on me to go back through chat. AGAIN. STILL waiting on the call back that was promised in emails, texts, AND chat as suggested. Is there any real chance you will show up at the one sidedly rescheduled appointment tomorrow afternoon? or am I waiting around all day for you no show with no call again? EDIT #2 Finally got a hold of someone at the local franchise. I had to call them, figured I'd give them one more chance to make good. They assured me they would be at the appointment, and in fact they offered to do it earlier in the day. But then they canceled later in the evening. No call, no text, just an "update" email indicating that I had canceled Enough is enough. I called another local shop offering mobile service, talked to senone without waiting on hold, and they got me scheduled and done within 24 hours. Even though the GEICO app failed and these guys did not have me down for an appointment for a while you wait chip repair, they accommodated me with no problems! The shop manager got it done in less than 45 minutes from my arrival! Only one thing would have made the experience better would have been a better exit than having to back up onto a very busy Old Georgetown Road but this location is too small to turn a car around!

This company wasted 16 hours of my time. They didn’t come twice and left without ringing the doorbell when they finally came. When I called customer service to get them back, I was hung up on. Go to Fair Price in DC. They came same day and were comparable in price. Service: Auto side window replacement

The customer service associated with this store and the entire Safelite AutoGlass company is atrocious. The original quote for having my windshield replaced rose $50. I called to inquire about why this happened and the representative ended up screaming at me on the phone. I followed up with their customer service department, and they supposedly fixed the issue. Ten minutes later I received a call stating that the price for the replacement more than doubled to over $1000. I am generally very easy-going and was not worried about the original price increase. I just wanted answers. Now, I will never use this company again. The way they treat customers is absolutely deplorable.

Small congested lot but service was ok. I tipped technician 10 for getting me in and out in a timely manner. My only day off and my schedule was filled with things to do so it was good to get my glass repaired and back on the road. Alerts and car status was texted to me keeping me updated
