STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! My vehicle buying experience was horrible. It was filled with empty promises and deceit, and I hope the used car sales department does not work like this on a regular basis. The Volvo corporate office should investigate the practices that are being followed at the Bethesda, MD. location. Now, I do not even trust that the car I purchased does not have major problems. I wish I would have purchased the Volvo warranty and gone to a different Volvo dealership. Also, for the past few weeks I have left numerous messages for the GM, used car manager, and the person who sold me the car to give me a call to resolve a warranty issue I had (which I paid out of pocket $1200) but no one has returned my calls. The check engine light came on right after I purchased the car.

We just ordered an XC60 Recharge from Volvo Bethesda. We booked a test drive and when we arrived Mo looked after us. He took my wife and I out and took the time to explain all the features (including getting our kids ridiculously excited to having google assistant in the car). He also want out of his way to help us try and find solutions to getting us an interim car while we waited for the one we ordered. Thanks Mo!

I can not recommend Volvo Cars of Bethesda more highly. It started when we arrived at Ourisman jeep in an uber and upon being dropped off realized we were at the wrong location, they ordered another Uber and paid for the trip to the correct showroom. We worked with Kathy Johnson, whose sales style was informative and without pressure. We took a tremendous amount of her time and she was incredibly patient. We had decided on a pre-owned car that upon driving caused a lot of back pain, so we came back and she spent the day working with us to find a car that really met our needs. When we purchased and realized it only had one key Andy, and Sergio worked together with Kathy to approve providing us an additional key at no cost, something that was not even required in the contract. Jason in service even gave us his cell to ask questions during the repair process. The pre-owned prices were realistic and we didn't have to deal with the stress or bargaining because we knew the cars were priced well; and the financing department provided a rate much lower than our own bank. After several weeks of looking and dealing with dis-honest dealers, Volvo of Bethesda was such a refreshing difference. This dealership really has stellar customer service! If you want to buy a new or used car Kathy Johnson will make sure you find exactly what you need.

Great service form this Volvo dealer. I was out of state, Luis and the team were in contact with me from the moment I inquired. They kept me in the loop and made great care to have the car ready for our trip to test ride and acquire. We were able to trade our car and get my new beautiful suv all in a reasonable time. Make sure to stop by and ask for Luis, he was great!

After searching for my dream I went to 4 Volvo dealership and was rejected. I took my final chance and visited Volvo in Bethesda between the sales man and the credit department they did an awesome job and I didn’t have to pay nothing down and I drove my dream car of the lot on the very same day. A year later I had a problem with my subscription, after calling Volvo they were unable to assist, took another chance and went back to this dealership where Ms Kathy Sue Johnson assisted with getting me all the help i needed in under 5 mins and my subscription was back up and running. I definitely recommend anyone searching for a car to visit this dealership in Bethesda Maryland and experience a warm and understanding staff that displays top tier customer service.

Please avoid at all costs. I was interested in purchasing a vehicle from this establishment. They had the car I was searching for. I test drove it and noticed sort of a high pitched hum. I wanted the car but the sound was a concern. I brought it to the dealers attention (Andre). He said he would get it fixed. A few days later he called and said it was fixed. I bought it the car and heard the humming on my way home. When I complained they told me to call their service center, I’ve left a few messages and no one has called me back. The dealership is aware of the situation. The inspection light also came on when I arrived home. The key fobs Barely work and i noticed there were dark orange spots on the car due to someone shinning the tires with oil. It’s not easy to remove the oil from the paint on the car. I’ve had the car for almost a week. I do not recommend this establishment.

We purchased a XC90 full size SUV from this location, our sales person was the best we had in years. But the management and accounting came back to us 2 months after purchase and ask for more money for tax payment, apparently a mistake by this dealership and a mixed up with authorities. This is understandable, however extremely rude behavior and making several unprofessional calls during our investigation if this matter made us to write this review to warn you about these kinds of behavior. We love our Volvo but wished we bought it from somewhere else.
