This is the second time where I've had to call the pharmacy at a very reasonable hour (a Tuesday at 1:45 PM) and have been forced to wait on hold for 15-20 minutes while they transfer me between Meat & Dairy, Grocery Pickup, and a bunch of other irrelevant departments. I usually don't write negative reviews like this... but bro, I'm literally just trying to find out the status of a necessary Rx. Why are you transferring me to Meat & Dairy??? This is completely bizarre. I don't think it's the workers' fault. Kroger's CEO made $20 million in 2020, and workers nationwide recently went on strike after being horribly underpaid during the pandemic. This location is grossly understaffed -- likely due to Kroger's executives punishing the workers for demanding better pay and benefits -- and that's why they only have one register open in the evening and force all of the customers to go through self-checkout. Thanks a lot, Kroger execs. Now I get to waste half of my day just trying to see if my Rx has been filled, while getting tossed around to completely irrelevant departments.

Queen Soops has been my Capitol Hill supermarket for 15 years. It has its ebbs and flows, but I can always count on the helpful staff - especially the ENDLESSLY patient checkers. Their selection is great for its size, and has a lot of more "hip" items, based on it's location and clientele. It's pretty rare, even in a time of economic uncertainty, that they're missing something I'm looking for. The parking is atrocious. It will ALWAYS be atrocious. I have come to terms with this. Just know the right of way and be patient when it's busy. Take your laps and something WILL open up for you. RIP Randy.

The owner claims they have "thousands of quality foods and household products" but it's closer to dozens since nearly every aisle is mostly empty every single day. For how many employees you have to wade through to shop there, you think even one of them could stock a shelf. The staff is rude and good luck finding a shopping basket anywhere in the store, not that you could fill it if you found one. Skip this trip and go to Ideal Market, they're more expensive but you can at least find what you're shopping for. You can tell by the lack of response from management on these reviews that they know what they're doing, they just don't care at all

I asked the young lady at Customer Service on Aug. 4 at about 1:15pm, if they carried frozen bread dough.. she thought and said no.. I said the King's Super by my sister's carried it.. she said this one didn't.. I asked if there wasn't a book or listing of items that they carried which she could check and she said no, they were not provided with that. What a brilliant young lady to remember all those items!.. hard to believe.. There were no other customers waiting for her service.

I shop here often because it's in the neighborhood. The grocery inventory is fine and average for any other grocery store like this but the customer service is beyond dismal. If you ask someone to help you find something, they will refuse. Every. Single. Time. Sometimes they will tell you they don't work in the section you're asking about, even as you are right there watching them stock that section. Other times they ignore you, as if they can't hear or see you saying "excuse me" two feet away. My suggestion to these garbage employees who need to ignore customers is to skip putting on the uniform. That way that can be fully undercover as they roam the store doing nothing but ignoring customers.

This store has 1 cashier on and a ton of self check out. That being said with all the money they save not having cashiers they can’t put on 2 people on Friday afternoon at customer service? Who woulda guessed Friday afternoon is busy? Corporate greed at its finest “must increase shareholder profits at all costs customers satisfaction doesn’t matter”. Honestly I’ve had better service and shorter lines at Walmart so congrats guess I’ll just go there from now on at least they’re cheaper.

I go in the store to purchase some cigars. The cashier in the customer service area was busy with a money order customer. David comes over I guess to help out and move the line along. I ask for the cigars and he asks for my i.d. I tell him my birthday instead but he says he needs to scan my i.d. so I go all the way to my car to retrieve it. When I come back he's no longer at the register. I wait with another gentleman for the other cashier to finish up with the money order customer. Once she finishes she waits on the gentleman in front of me. I notice him ask for cigarettes and the cashier doesn't say she needs his i.d. she just asks his birthday and he tells it to her and she rings him out. I step up and ask for cigars and when she gets them she comes to the register and ask for my birthday and I tell it to her. She rings me out and I leave. I am wondering why David couldn't have done the same thing. Bad customer service on David's part however Maryann gets 5 stars !

I went there today and had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a grocery store. I had items to return and spoke with David and Juanita who treated me like a homeless person. The first person I spoke with was David. I showed him my receipts .(yes some of the items were. Perishable and I didn’t realize I couldn’t return them), but he dismissed me and in a very disrespectful tone said to “have a nice day”. I had receipts for everything and I had to walk back to the butcher department to ask for the store manager b/c I deserved a return. I was shocked! Yes, I was dressed in sweat pants and my hair was greasy (I was planning on walking 5 miles after I returned my items so I figured I would wash it when I got home) but to be treated like I stole the items was horrifying. I found the store manager (I think his name was Adam) and explained my situation and he kindly told me that he would refund them. I explained I didn’t want to deal with David so he let Juanita know. Well, 5 minutes later or so. Im standing in front of Juanita expecting no problems and she is asking me “who purchased these items?!?”. I explained, “ I did.” She looked like she didn’t believe me and I shoved the card I had used to her and the transaction (of course) credited my account and she looked shocked and horrified because she realized I was telling the truth. She apologized profusely and looked horrified (at her assumption about me) and apologized, but too little too late. I have NEVER been treated like a thief and homeless person and the fact that 2 people had the audacity to do both was beyond insulting. I know my hair was dirty, but I was wearing a North Face shirt, Brooks shoes, and a Rebecca Minkoff backpack. Do homeless people sell these items?!? The only saving grace was that I went and grabbed the store manager and he made the situation right. I’m horrified!!! What if I judged them for working at King Soopers as clerks - how would they feel ?!!!!! Which btw I would NEVER do because I’m N.O.T. Ignorant. They both need to be fired - they are beyond ignorant and I would NEVER judge a book by its cover, unlike them! Thank you Adam (I think that is the Store Managers name) for making the situation right but you need to get rid of ignorance as customers should be given the benefit of the doubt and not the reverse. Who cares what you look like or what you do?!? It’s who you are in the inside that counts and clearly these employees are too ignorant to know that - and because of THAT they need to be fired!!! The worst experience I’ve ever had at a grocery store!!!! I gave them 2 stars because the store manager made it right!

Just never stocked here (see photo). The staff are nice as can be, but are somewhat inept for the jobs they claim to do. Parking is a disaster because of all the carts that pile up everywhere as I can assume they don’t have a lot attendant (there is additional parking across Corona St. but that doesn’t make a difference in the main lot).
