I’m really great full for Ayer Oil. My husband and I are new to this house that we rent - neither of us have ever been responsible for an oil tank before. We realized we were really low on oil and in need of a delivery right away. We’ve let the tank one out once by accident already - and at that time we were dealing with Lorden Oil. They charged us all sorts of fees to rush our order - not to mention the minimum order Lorden has of 150 gallons. That order with Lorden was almost $500. This time, I decided to explore other options. I put in a contact for early in the morning on their website, and Kim reached out to me that day within an hour of their office opening. Kim was very kind and professional, and she understood the urgency of my situation while also keeping my budget in mind. She sent a guy out to inspect the tank a few hours later, and I filled out a new customer form. The man who came to look at the tank was very friendly and quick. Kim set me up with a delivery for the very next day - and was willing to work with me on my payment due date. My bill was half of what my last oil bill was with Lorden. I wish I had just used this company when we originally moved here - so I wanted to post a review to help other people decide. If you’re trying to decide between your local oil delivery options - definitely chose Ayer Oil!

Ayer Oil is fantastic! Whether it’s oil delivery, scheduled maintenance, or even an emergency on a weekend, they are efficient, friendly, and professional! Any issue or question I’ve had, they’ve taken care of me and truly make me feel like they value me as a customer and a person. Incredible service every time! I have used Ayer Oil for a number of years for oil delivery and furnace maintenance. The are very reliable with oil delivery; however, a few months ago I had an issue with their maintenance service. I had Ayer Oil perform the annual furnace maintenance service at the end of the season. The technician proceed to put a bunch of stickers all over my systems covering up my AC contractor and other oil companies. Shortly after the maintenance visit, I prepared my AC for the summer months. I discovered the fan was not operating. Upon investigation I found that the Ayer technician had cut the AC fan wire. I am not sure why that did this except to think they wanted my AC to freeze and then call Ayer Oil for service. I always thought that having the oil delivery company also maintain your furnace is like having the "fox guard the hen house". I recommend if you do hire Ayer oil for maintenance services, closely monitor their technicians.

I received a grant for oil this fall. Ayer oil came to deliver it Sept. 7th. While the truck was here I called to ask if the delivery could wait until the end of September because I wanted the most out of the grant. They gave me a new delivery date of September 24th. The oil was never delivered . I spoke with them today and I was told that I should have checked sooner and they did not make a mistake. Lesson learned the very expensive hard way. WARNING: DO NOT TRUST THAT YOUR DELIVERY MADE IT TO YOUR TANK. THANKS FOR SCREWING ME OUT OF MY GRANT AYER OIL.

I've been using Ayer Oil for many years, for heat and hot water, and they've been great. I've only had to contact them a couple of times, and each time they responded very quickly even though these were non-emergency situations.

We were in a pinch, our tank was in crazy need of replacing, and Ayer oil was the only company that practically dropped everything and came out to look at our tank and replaced it within a week. They were always there to answer all questions we had and when we had a slight issue, they were there same day to repair. Definitely would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a tank or oil fill. I am so happy to be going into this winter with a full and non rusting tank.

Recently we had our old oil furnace and AC system replaced by Ayer Oil. The service manager took the time to calculate the needs of our house instead of just installing the same sized units that were previously put in. This calculation showed that the AC unit could be a whole ton less which saved $$$. The installers did a great job replacing the units and cleaned up meticulously afterward. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
