I called in a slight panic, our puppy Goose couldn’t see because his hair was over his eyes and his poor nails were causing him to slip on the floors. His nails are black so I’m nervous to trim at home. We had an appointment at a different groomer in Medfield who was unable to work with our nervous puppy. Couldn’t trim his nails and wouldn’t groom because our puppy was too squirmy. Paws and Claws was so kind and responsive. They had me bring him in the same day for a quick nail trim and face trim. They did a great job. He looked so happy (and cute) to be able to see without the hair in his eyes. We booked him for a full grooming a week later. The next appointment went well, our puppy is super afraid of the clippers buzzing sound so they just trimmed his paws, bum, belly and face. He looks great. They suggested we try a grooming with clippers again in a few weeks to get him more comfortable with them. I love that they care about the dogs level of stress and worked with him to find a balance between getting as much groomed as possible and not hurting him. They are reasonably priced and I’m happy to support a local business and people that clearly love animals and are so skilled at grooming (even my nervous 6 month old puppy - Portuguese Water Dog). We look forward to getting our Goose used to the grooming process and appreciate Paws & Claws for coming to the rescue. PS- my dog loves the doggy ice cream.

Will never go here again. Our other groomer that we love happened to be sick, so we went here instead. Twice now, they have barely cut his nails making us have to go again in 2 weeks. Found a cut on his thigh that they never mentioned. Charged extra bc they had to muzzle him??? We have never had a single issue with a groomer needing to do this. This place is a ripoff, bad customer service, rude, money grubbing. Don’t send your pet here.

I had my first experience with paws and claws on 5-11-22 my dog's name is fredo " He is 11yrs old morkie with health issues. He's diabetic and has lost his sight ! That to me is alot to ask of a groomer ! I explained this to them but I was still very worried about him! He's spoiled but after all he is very special to me! When my grandson brought him home I was so relieved - He was happy and more importantly he looked great !! The best he's ever been groomed. ! He was done exactly as I asked --his face looked the best it's ever looked! His nails were done to perfection :which has always been a problem with other groomers. Thank you paws and clnaws for being the best I've ever seen I hope you will continue to take him as a client !!

The manager was extremely nice. I told the girl to leave at least 1 inch all over. I have a peekapoo. Talked to manager stress again. 1 inch all over. It's called a teddy bear style. I even checked on internet how to cut it by experts. When I got him back it was cut 1/4 of an inch all over. I talked to manager about what was done. She out and out lied. We talked about it she said she knew. Disgusting, and my dog was acting strange for a few hour after i got him home. Hes 6 months old and im sure he was a handful. Had they admitted they made a mistake i would maybe use them agaun. Now im done. Worst place ive ever been. Even when i had a yorkie.

Great experience. On one visit my cat wasn’t shaved enough and the owner instantly got on phone and said next time she would personally cut my persian. Everyone is always super friendly and my cat came out perfect and they even gave me a little Xmas bag w/ cookies n toys! Also not one other groomer would take my cat because of covid and I just got him so they weren’t taking anyone néw. So glad paws n claws was willing to get me in! Thanks again ! Highly recommend for any pet!

First visit but we'll be back. Excellent experience with trimming my cat's claws. She won't let me do it without drawing blood, but Lisa's staff made short work of the job. Cat and owner are very pleased. Also enjoyed shopping for treats and toys for the many pets on our Christmas list. Impressive, affordable selection of homemade goodies and more. Thank you Paws and Claws for all you have to offer!

I have a senior longhair cat who is very nervous and anxious. She can no longer groom herself well and got terribly matted on her belly. I called and they got me in the same day. I cannot thank them enough. They handled my cat better than the vet. I very much recommend Paws and Claws Pet Bakery and Grooming! My cat feels so much better and happier, and that makes me happy. Great staff. I will definitely be back!!

We got a our sweet kitty a lion cut at Paws and Claws. They did a great job on the cut at a reasonable price. They called promptly when they were finished so I could pick her up. I found this important so she wouldn’t be there long with a lot of dogs barking! The only thing I think they could improve on are sweeping up the cutting room more often and getting a receptionist to answer phones. The room you walk into from the door is the cutting room and it’s off putting to have that much fur on the floor. They just need someone to sweep frequently like in a hair salon. Also, I left a message about an appointment early in the day but didn’t get a call back until much later in the evening!

I stopped by to get my Pups nails trimmed. They took her right away and did a great job. Friendly people and nice cookie and treat addition filled with lots of goodies. It is very much worth stopping by. I will be making it my regular stop for treats and nails.
