On a few occasions while looking for my first vehicle he has gone above and beyond. He knows cars inside and out, deal with people, compassionate, and does right by his customer. I would give Jake's Brakes 10 stars if I could. He is the most honest and fair mechanic I have ever met, and I would recommend him highly to anyone who has any kind of car issue.

I am a small business owner of a local overhead garage door repair company and understand the importance of customer service and quality work. Followed up by a customer review of the overall experience! I have to say that I was so thrilled to have Niel, from Jake's Brakes fix our service truck that went down last night! We got instant service at a fantastic and fair rate! Long story short, A fuel pump blew on our service truck leaving us between a rock and a hard spot for the next service day. Needless to say, he got our truck right in, and fixed up! I couldn't have been any happier! Now we can get right back to work! On top of all of it, Niel was very friendly and communicated very well throughout the process! So, if you are in the market for a car repair and need a great and honest mechanic, and if you support small local businesses, this is your place!

Very reasonable and good service. Also, it's located a few min walk to commuter rail station (Norwood Central) so for me it was easy to drop the vehicle for service in the morning and take train to work.
