If you are Portuguese or Latino descent you possibly may enjoy some of the food so there one thing you will not enjoy is that very high prices minimal selection so if it's Portuguese or Spanish food you look into create this is probably a place if you're an American that speaks English you might find it hard to communicate anybody else will find it hard to find the food that you accustomed to

This Is a Popular Local Portuguese Owned* Supermarket In Our City of Fall River, Where We Have A Large Portuguese, Spanish & Latino* Community. And Yes, I'm One of Them. And While The Seabra Foods Inc. Brand*Company Is Based In Newark, New Jersey, It Has Store Locations Locally Here In Fall River, New Bedford & In Bristol, R.I. The Store has a Good & Large Variety of Ethnic Portuguese,Brazilian,Spanish & American Foods Sold At Some "Reasonable" Discounted Prices, depending On What you Buy. The Customer Service & Check Out Lines Are Generally "Friendly"for The Most Part. But I Have One "Complaint", They Have The "Smelliest" Fish & Seafood Section & The "Bad Funky Odor" Often Permeates Into The Nearby Produce Section Leaving Not Only The Fruits & Vegetables Covered In "Stench" but It Also Attracts Fruit Flys & 0ther Insects In that Front Entrance Produce Area of The Store. (Specifically The Fall River Store I'm talking about)*It Reminds Me of Those Open-Air Food Markets In Africa, Asia & Other Third World Countries* Where Cleanliness & Sanitation Is Usually Not a Top Priority. I Wish They would Try to Take "Better Care" of The Fish & Produce Area's of That Store. I'm Sure It's a Major "Turn Off" to Those Who Aren't Used to That "Smell" When They Enter Most "ANY" Supermarket, Except for The Locals Who Are Used to it & Don't mind The Filthy, Funky, Punjent Odor. 🤭😷

Tried to go to Price rite the other day I was in there about 5 minutes looked for plantains they did not have them look for Macintosh apples they did not have them I said oh seabra has them and figs too I won't go to market basket

Great market to find Brazilian and exotic products. You can find the basics you always need too. It sells all kinds of food that other markets sell but with a plus. I gave it 4 stars because it is more expensive but it is very good. But I love it

I've been going there for years and never had a problem with anyone until I have to go to the seafood department.This one man is very arrogant and should not be working with the public.Every time I have him waiting on me he gets an attitude. He's a ticking time bomb. Just this week he blew up at me for asking him a question that would of only helped him. He spun around with arms in the air yelling at me like a crazy man. Well my daughter says he is still working the counter after this incident. That tells me the store is not concerned for their customers shopping experience or safety so they have lost a customer that spends well over $300.00 a week there. I will not shop where I am going to be disrespected. Anyone who he's waited on I'm sure you know who I am talking about. Especially if you order shellfish. He'll tell you they are out of it just so he doesn't have to do it. So if the owners want this guy in their store I will not be going anymore. Market.Basket is cheaper with more choices.

I called ahead of time like I always do. I called ahead today for rock crab, they told me they had plenty, I get there, the guys already have an attitude, then proceeds to tell me all the crab are dead!! Mind blown. then i proceed to ask for other seafood. the entire time I got nothing but attitude. Am I'm not the only one who complained. All I have to say is just WOW!! Unbelievable. Direspect.
