Brooke is the absolute best. I go in without a real plan and she knows exactly what to do. Such a wonderful personality to be with for hours as I get my hair done. I have never been one to get my hair done regularly because I had never found the right person, until Brooke! Kelsey and Rose are great company in the salon as well. Rosemarie is amazing, extreme professional and delightful to work with. She fixed my hair after it had been dyed a color I hated, and was extremely knowledgeable and skilled at color removal. With one removal she had my hair looking the exact shade I intended it to, and made me feel beautiful again. I highly recommend her, and her salon. All the staff was polite and helpful. Brooke was all around amazing! I was desparate to have my highlights done as soon as possible and she was fleixible to my schedule, even taking me on her usual day off. Being a new client, there is always a little bit of nervousness however she made me feel very comfortable listening to what I was looking for, asking questions when clarification was needed as well as answering any questions that I had. The end results were beautiful and I could not have been more happy with how my color and cut came out. I will definitely be returning to the salon and to Brooke! Services: Hair highlighting, Haircut

If there is ONE blessing or silver lining during this Covid pandemic then it is the fact that I found Uptown Salon & Color Studio. Honestly. I feel SO fortunate. The place is like a rare jewel, from A to Z. The owner Rose is a true professional, extremely knowledgeable, has a wealth of experience, and is a very kind person who will do everything to please you. Finally, she is a dog lover too 😊. The salon is very clean, the atmosphere is calm. All stylists are super friendly, everyone makes you feel welcome. I was looking for a SAFE place to get my hair done (as much as I value my hair, my life and my health are more important). My former stylist at another salon (in Worcester) was not wearing a mask even though she was not vaccinated. I found this attitude simply disgraceful. One day I found myself being the only one wearing a mask among 15 unmasked (and some/most unvaccinated?) stylists and customers. I am still wondering why the stylists of that salon in Worcester would put themselves and their own customers at risk?? Seriously?? In this line of work, social distancing is impossible. Your stylist is about... 6 inches away... not 6 ft away from your face. With the delta variant on the rise, I no longer felt safe at the salon in Worcester, even though I am fully vaccinated and always wear a mask indoors - I have a pre-existing condition and I respect/believe in science. Early July I left the salon in Worcester and found this awesome hair place Hopkinton. Uptown Salon is extremely safe: all stylists and all customers are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Period. Which is simply in line with the public health guidelines for indoor gathering where social distancing is not possible. This is called responsible business conduct and treating employees / customers with respect. Also, I was looking for a salon that uses Goldwell Nectaya – the ammonia-free line of Goldwell. Not easy to find. Uptown has it all: regular Goldwell and Nectaya. Rose is a true color magician, she fixed all my hair color issues in just one visit. Rose listens, understands, explains, gives you great advice, and will mix your color based on your wishes but also based on your current color and your hair type (I have fine hair that has a rare genetic defect called “pili annulati" aka ringed hair, in other words I am a bit of a challenge for unexperienced colorists). The result is amazing, my hair color is more vibrant, richer, deeper, and lasts so much longer. My hair looks healthier, the color is more natural. I couldn’t be happier!

I got a haircut here and it is definitely NOT worth the price!!!!! It's uneven. The person who gave me a haircut hid the uneven part by blowing-dry my hair(found out when I washed my hair). I don't blame her that she doesn't know how to give a hair cut but just saying it's not worth the price.($55 plus tip$$) I would say this salon is like an ex-boyfriend. I ain't going back!!!!! I should start by saying that Rose is my new hero. I had a poor experience with the hair salon I had been going to for a while and was too embarrassed to go back. I called and Rose was able to squeeze me in same day for a consult. Rose took the time to really figure out what I wanted and even more importantly what I didn't want and then fixed what she determined to be a relatively small problem at the same visit. She also noted how good of a job my previous hair stylist did and that this appeared to be more of a miscommunication which I really respect. Rose and the other girls that work there are super knowledgeable about color - which us fake blondes always appreciate. The salon is high end and clean and just like that I am now a customer for life. Service: Hair coloring

I cannot recommend Uptown Salon more highly. Everyone there is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and professional. When I moved to Hopkinton two years ago I found Uptown, and my stylist Rose is the best in the biz. She will take the time to give you a look you’ll love. She listens to what you want and executes with her experienced skills to make it happen. During the cut she’ll check in to get your input, and she’ll make adjustments to get it right for you. I’ll be moving out of the area soon and there’s a good chance I’ll make the drive back to get my haircut from Rose!

Love Uptown Salon! If you haven’t stopped in, you're missing out. Rose and her staff are fantastic-very pleasant while maintaining a professional feel. The salon is clean and bright. Love Kelsey, she does a great job with my cut and color. Had a wonderful pedicure today with Patty. Excellent hair and nail salon in Hopkinton-so glad I pulled in to check them out!

I went to Uptown Salon to get my hair done today and am so happy with the results. I walked in with hair that I had neglected since Christmas-3 inch long dark roots, and equally long split ends. When I called, I was able to get an appointment the exact day and time I wanted without having to wait weeks for an opening. The inside of the salon is really nice and intimate, I was told it was recently renovated-it looks great. Everyone who worked there was really nice and all of the other clients seemed happy, too. My hair came out awesome. Despite the fact that I waited waaaayy too long to get my roots done, the color match came out even. I was afraid that my ends were so damaged that I would have to get a really short cut, but my stylist was able to give me a haircut that got rid of the split ends AND let me keep my length! Awesome. I will definitely be back.
