Worst moving experience of all time. Truck was rented from the Home Depot off Rt 1 in Saugus and they messed up our reservation. The truck was 4 hours late and made for the absolute worst moving situation of my life. The Medford location responsible for the truck did not even apologize for the inconvenience and offered a pathetic 20% refund. Do not use these guys if you have a move or care about your time!!!

My U-Haul rental fell through and I was panicking. Gino at Penske took my call just as they were about to close and went out of his way to help. The truck was way nicer than the ones at U-Haul, and you can't beat the customer service. Yes they're more expensive, but I'm a Penske customer from now on.

Kudos and much appreciation to Courtney and the service team at Penske North Boston, Medford. I came in from out of town with a blown airbag and Courtney and her team went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of despite the current challenge getting parts. Very easy to work with. After having a truck reserved with Uhaul for a week, the day before I was to pick up I got a call from uhaul telling me they could no longer provide a truck; 10am on a Friday 2 days before the 1st of the month (when everybody needs a moving truck). Penske not only worked with me to find and rent a truck, the GM of the Medford location guaranteed there would be a truck (which is what I thought a reservation did) which was a lot of weight off my shoulders inna stressful time. Couldnt speak more highly of the GM and Penske.

Terrible experience. I arrived on a Tuesday to pick up a truck from this location and came back on Friday to return it. When I arrived I immediately noticed that my van was not in the parking lot. Went inside and was told that they had it towed because it was a "competitor's vehicle". It was a Hertz van but nobody told me that I couldn't park it there when I arrived and multiple employees saw me there in the van. No one ever apologized or tried to resolve the issue, I was treated like a criminal and just given the address where they had it tied to. Cost me $178 to get it out. The truck was trash too because the fans and AC didn't work and it was 90° outside. I will admit that all the employees except the scrawny manager were polite but he was rude and unprofessional. I also want to add that I was parked in the customer parking lot and there were other cars parked around me at the time.

The sales man said he will rent the truck for $2000per month and charged more than $5000per month. I asked to adjust it from the beginning and after 5 month, he says he charged regular price bc I never signed the document. But I didn't know I had to sign the paper bc he never send anything or asked anything. After all I had to $25,000. It's either he forgot to send the document and now just forcing me to pay or intend to do so.

Excellent customer service representative very respectfully. Resolved the question's I had . I was even able to split the bill which I appreciated . No problems whatsoever I can't wait till I see what my bill is see if it's the same....WELL I got my bill and I told them the milage , they even let me keep the an extra day they were nice about it . My bill is what they said no scamming here . Very nice people and clean I forgot to mention that before they only let one person into the office at a time very impressed.

I made a reservation for a cargo van in May for a one way rental at the end of June. When I arrived to pick up the reservation I was told the smallest van available was a 16 ft van. The biggest vehicle I have even driven is a Nissan Cube so I was extremely nervous about driving this van 10 hrs down the East Coast to say the least. I did not have other options since I was moving that day out of state. According to Penske they did not get in their shipment of other trucks. I understand these are difficult and unprecedented times but a simple phone call or email communication to let me know my requested vehicle was not available would not have been hard. I received other communications confirming my rental previous to my pick up date and they had my information on file to contact me. The larger truck caused several inconveniences. I did not anticipate all the extra truck space for my 1 bedroom move and did not reserve additional moving equipment like straps to prevent my furniture from shifting. The bigger truck meant the drive took much longer since I had to detour around cities to avoid low overpasses or narrow roads. Obviously gas and extra toll fees exceeded my budget for this move too. After this experience I would be extremely hesitant about using Penske in the future without calling them incessantly to ensure they have the vehicle I have requested in their lot.
