Love this store. The owner is fantastic and I've been coming for years. She's a great curator of mens clothes and accessories and it's one of my first stops when I come into town to see what new items she's carrying. Also love the hard to find Porter bags I've purchased from her as well. Super friendly hip vibe all around.

What a gem. Kapital and Porter are incredible Japanese brands that are hard to find in the US. Admittedly, the style may not be for everyone. The pieces are not inexpensive but they are timeless and you probably won’t walk past 10 people wearing or carrying the same thing. We love it, and we had a great experience shopping with Mickey (I believe that was his name). We laughed. We cried. We read signs about not touching the window display! Favorite part was when he told us that he just wanted to see the Porter backpacks we bought “go to a good home” as my wife pulled her Porter camo wallet out of her Porter purse and I tucked the receipt into the pocket of my Kapital shirt. It was like finding a little piece of home in PTown.

My little sister and I were looking through the small notebooks and coin purses, and were confronted by a horrible employee, who I assume to be the owner, after walking away. She was heavily implying that I took a notebook from the display, and was baffled. Talk about profiling. She proceeded to try to take candid pictures of my sister, who, by the way, is only 13. We both are very troubled by this and hope that whoever is in charge takes action. This woman was mean and hostile.

Very rude employees. As I looked through merchandise I got a "we discourage people from doing that" because I was rearranging a subtle display. I'm sorry, but you don't know how much I would have spent or not. In This case NOT is the operative word. As someone who works in customer service I suggest employee retraining.
