I had Liberty do my taxes in March in which the tax preparer told me I owed over 9k in Federal taxes - come to find out I reviewed my 1040 myself and Liberty missed putting in taxes I paid for a mutual fund distribution. Instead of owing 9k I owed 3k!!!! Big difference and costly mistake by Liberty Insurance. The return was already filed and now I’ve been waiting 6 MONTHS for my amended return which is insane!!!!!! I would never recommend this outfit to anyone - listen to these reviews it’s the truth!

I had my taxes done there several years and each year there was an issue. For the last 2 years I had to go over my tax return and tell them what deductions I should have. This year they almost cost me over $2000 back on my federal tax return. Luckily I caught it before they filed. To make matters worse, I was notified by the state that I had missed filing $9000 of income on my state tax return. When I brought it to the owner he argued with me, telling me I must have failed to bring him an additional w-2. After 10 minutes he finally checked and realized they had messed up and forget to add the $9000 to my state tax. Finally, he wanted to charge me $400 after all these issues. I refused to pay and brought my return down the street to H and R block, where I paid much less and they discovered an additional $500 that I was entitled to on my return. They have no idea what they are doing. You're better off filing yourself using turbo tax.
