I did not feel properly cared for by my tax professional. She made an error and ignored maybe 5 or 6 e-mails from me. She did not properly inform me of the actions I needed to do in order to finish the filing process. She did not check on me or her work to make sure everything was right. I have already been waiting about a month for my return and now I will be waiting much longer. It is very disappointing because I have been struggling financially and I was counting on this money. I have always filed my taxes with you and now I will probably never go to you again.

We have been going to you for years and we love Diane she is great and would use no one else. Only suggestion would be about your scheduling systems not the best. local office is fine but outside system is not good

I made an appointment online for 11am . When I arrived I was informed to just come in and drop off your information and leave. Why have an appointment if you just drop off ? I asked if it would be done that day , the man at the front said they will work all night to ensure it’s done . I came back at 4pm and asked the lady, now at the front counter and she checked on my paper work and said I was right on top & that they just started working on today’s submissions. I returned again at 800pm, I asked the same woman about my paper work and she checked again, which I heard the accountant with my paperwork say “multiple states, that’s last” At 9pm I received a call saying they wouldn’t be able to do it today however they will get to it first thing in the morning when they open. They opened at 9am, I called at 11am the gentleman said he hadn’t gotten to it. He alerted me that he wouldn’t be able to get to it today. And that I should bring it to Brockton . I was very professional to them and they were courteous when I came in to retrieve my paper work . However their communication leaves much to be desired . It felt scammy to have an online system to record an appointment time only to be told you don’t have one and come pick up your paperwork and try another store. I’ve never dealt with H & R block before and honestly I probably will not in the future. I realize tax time is hectic and waiting till the last moment makes things difficult, However I think I should have been dealt with in a more straightforward honest approach . I would have given them a 2.5 if that was an option , but since I didn’t receive the service and wasted a day an a half I used my own accounting skills and rounded down .
