My review is for this specific local branch and not the overall bank practices, rules, or remote customer service. Did an excellent job addressing my concerns in person banker overheard my issue with counter staff and went out of her way to help. When she was unable to resolve the issue immediately the branch manager followed up within 2 business hours to remove a hold on my check for me. This is my bank I use in the US and Internationally and I was happy they continued great in person service. I was happy to see there was still a reason to use a physical location as well.

Well, they locked my sisters account because her husband was receiving direct deposits from UIA. When she proved he was who he said he was they unlocked it and made her a new account an "withdrew" 1200$ from her old account and transfered 1200 from her old account to the new account. The overdrew her negatively. Blamed her, then blamed unemployment, when that particular reversed transaction was taken care of via cashapp, and did not accout for the 1200 they over drew her. They then said it was pulled out to be mailed so keep an eye out for it. It wasnt. There was no check, even if there was, they should have been able to cancel it and return it to the account. Then when we thought that was taken care of, and tried to deposit the money from the cashapp into her new account at the bank, guess what, they took that too. Saying she owed it. As a "hold" until the mysterious withdrawl from there end got fixed. And today, today instead of fixing thier problem, and returning her the money they owed us. They locked her out of her account, Then They closed her account, Then said they would send her the 80$ or so that was still in the account in the mail, and cut off communications with us. So thats it. Chase essentially robbed my disabled sister of $1240.08, because they could, and because so many people inside chase were involved, bankers, supervisors, several customer support staff via phone, there is no way to prove we were robbed. We couldnt even get her statements. So yes. After 14+ years of banking with chase. I am ashamed that i reccomended them to my family. We are having a hard enough time with the world in the state it is, being robbed by big bank corporations for something so petty to them but so big to us really F*cking sucks.

I’ve been paying my rent through chase for a year through the drive thru with no issues. Today I got some woman named Claire Robinson who decided to make my already painful banking experience more so. My deposits go into a business account of which I send an old slip with the account information. I’ve been doing this for a year with no issues, today twinkle toes informs me I have to fill out a slip.....ugh

Went to the Clarkston location to open an account on Friday afternoon. No other customers at the tellers, but I wanted to open an account. One man said one of the women would help me because he had an appointment coming in at 4:00 (we arrived at 3:30). I waited while a couple had customers and others were just chatting or walking around. I waited patiently until 4:00 and then just walked out. Nobody ever came by to say sorry for the wait or offer a cup of coffee. Not the type of bank I want to deal with when they ignore customers or potential ones.

Doug does great work on the business end. The tellers are all friendly. Just wish they'd tweak some things in management. Overall not a bank I'd deal with if I didn't have to.

Absolutely pitiful customer service. Just waited over 30 mins with my very patient 3 year old only to be told by the banker he wouldn't help us because what we had been waiting for would take him 20 mins to complete and the bank closed 10 mins ago. The teller who checked us in knew what we were there to do and rather than communicate with the banker to see if he had enough time to help us we were told to wait. What a waste of time and a disgrace of customer service. We won't be using chase anymore.

Used this bank back in early 2000. Now I remember why I dropped them and hated them. Worst customer service ever. Treat you like your an idiot because you question their stupid rules. Friend writes a fairly large check to my wife, because she is in the hospital. She tries to cash it to get her kids money who are away at colloge. There is more than enough money in the account and they tell her they have a 2500 limit per day for non members to cash checks. When did it become ok to have someone's money and put restrictions on how they can distribute it. I don't know how they stay in business and this is why I am at a credit union.
