I went to this Mobil gas station (6306 Fenkell Ave, Detroit, MI 48238) on Oct 7, 2017. The price sign shows the Regular (87) fuel type is $2.28/gal. Then I just went ahead and filled my VW with 93 fuel and did really look at the price. At the end of the fill, I printed the receipt and looked at it, the price is $3.88/gal for 93 fuel, which is $1.6 more expensive than the regular type fuel. So I paid about $18 dollars more for the same fuel anywhere else. That's insane!!! My first thought is that it might just show the price wrong. So I went into the store and as the guy who was in there. He said it is what it is and he can do nothing about it. I just left because I didn't have time to argue with him.
