I would have giving more stars, but the younglady who rung my things up had an attitude and was throwing my clothes in the bag. I also purchased glasses that she was treating like a piece of paper. I kept saying please could you not scratch the glasses. Yet she continued to mishandle the glasses. Then she had to re ring my purchase again. If she would have listened to me this would've happened.

My husband called this store at 1:05 PM on January 22 to inquire about air fryers.The person who answered the phone clearly could not be bothered, was brisk, and downright RUDE. How can a corporation have someone this unprofessional answering their phones?When asked if they had any, it was, “What”? When he repeated the question, the response was, very irritatedly, “Hold on”. She may have even sucked her teeth when she said it and she really sounded very annoyed. My husband was on speaker, and I jerked my head towards the phone because I could not believe what was transpiring. When she came back to the phone, she says “ We ain’t got ‘um”. Come on Marshalls of Detroit on West 8 Mile Road, you can do better than this. Service is all you can offer, and this is not it. Someone with this poor training and natural demeanor should be working in stock, not answering your phones!

Every step I took in Marshall was truly a step of gratitude because I could see so many wonderful lovely things so nicely placed throughout our store. This store doesn't have a large/good selection of men's shoes or men's active wear. If you're shopping for women's clothing/shoes they have a greater variety of choices to pick from. The store is neat and clean compared to similar stores in the area. Lastly, they have a good selection of bar soaps, lotions, and personal care item's.
