My middle-school-age daughter and I decided to take up a couple of orchestral string instruments for the first time! The staff has been incredibly friendly, supportive, and helpful every step so far. Meyer Music offers a respectable variety of high-quality band and orchestra instruments for a low rental fee - for children and adults! They also partner with many music schools in the area. Our family would very much recommend Meyer Music, whether you are an experienced musician or just starting out!

Meyer music has always been a helpful place to go for music needs, like today. Came to town from the other side of the state to march with the Bronco Alumni Band for Homecoming weekend and the WMU band did not have mouthpieces for any of the horns. Meyer had a French horn mouthpiece in stock, so I was able to purchase one and play with the band. Thanks to Meyer for saving the day!

Friendly Service and we love their rental program for their violins. We can upgrade as our daughter increases in her abilities. We can take the money paid from the previous rental into our upgrade which is such a win win situation!

Meyer Music is a wonderful addition to the music community in Kalamazoo. Staffed with friendly and professional associates who understand the needs of student and professional musicians alike, I recommend Meyer Music to anyone who needs sheet music, accessories, instruments, or service. Their service department is responsive, professional, and does really quality work on brass instruments (I'm sure they do good work on woodwinds too but I've personally only had them work on brass instruments).

The staff here is very helpful and very friendly. My school operates through Marshall Music, yet this place serves me better than Marshall Music does. They helped me get a lyre and other supplies. The store is nice, and the young lady and the man at the desk were just so helpful. When I asked for a trombone lyre and pages, they got it for me. When I asked if I could see some keyboards, they took me into a room and let me try an awesome keyboard and explained the process through which it'd be rented or purchased. Every time I've come here, I've left satisfied and with exactly what I needed, and having been served well.
