We are traveling by motorcoach in the Upper Peninsula and I decided I would like a Pizza, so I went online and asked what is best pizza in my area, 51st State Brewing Company popped up as one of the ten best in the area so looked at their web site and thought kind of a interesting place and had very high reviews. So off to the Restaurant we went, we certainly were not disappointed the pizza was great, place was spotless clean, our server was fantastic and the prices reasonable. Little off the beaten path but will worth the trip, oh almost forgot the beer selection was top shelf with lots of choices. Family owned and run which is nice in these times. Any time we are in the area this will be a stop.

Great little brewery and pizza place in the UP. All the beers served are their local brews and flights are available so you can taste them all if you like. The service was fast and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating available when weather allows. Prices were more than reasonable and pizza was AMAZING! A must visit if you are in the north woods.

Awesome pizza and beer! Really that's most of what they serve! Very fresh ingredients and microbrew was fabulous! Had the blueberry beer! Fantastic!

Very very good pizza. Some of the best we have had! We also enjoyed the beer, of course. The lemon shandy and orange wheat beer were our favorites. We even got a couple crowlers to-go. One thing to note, the patio is NOT dog friendly. We had initially decided on stopping by since we had our dog and figured we could sit outside with her. You can tie the dog up to the outside of the fence if you get a table along side it, but the dog is not allowed on the patio. This was our mistake for not checking ahead of time but our dog was fine in the car. Just thought people should know ahead of time as many breweries we have been to allow dogs on their patios or inside. We will sure be back!

Woodfield pizza was tasty and super quick to get to our table. The Batty Millie (blueberry wheat) beer was delicious and not something typical of beers I've had before. The outdoor seating was very nice. The decor and atmosphere were very nice.

What a fantastic place to have a brew or two. The Meatzza, Margareta and Pepperoni ( for the kids ) pizzas were fantastic. Not a scrap left one the trays. Not even a smidgen of crust. The Gobsmacked, and the Superior State beers were loved by all. Plus many others I can't remember the names of we sampled and deamed very good. We had a party 14 including children and adults of varying ages. And we were all figuring out when we could go again. We had a very good time. Thank you to our host Ben. What a fantastic night for our family.

When I drove up, I was immediately impressed. The building is modern yet cozy. It has an outside patio complete with umbrellas, which is where I sat. First, the great! The ambiance is great! I loved sitting outside. The beer was very good. Now the areas for improvement. First, they had a food menu, but I had to go inside for the QR code for the beer menu. Not a huge problem, but maybe add the code to the food menu? Next, I had the margarita pizza. Taste-wise, it was very good! The marinara was tasty, however, there was about 6 tomato slides on my pizza and about 9 pieces of basil (see my picture). It could have been loaded up a little more. Also, while the crust was fully of delicious butter and garlic, the middle of the pizza was soggy, and not crispy at all. While the beer I had was beet good, I wish there was more for descriptions. It says how much alcohol is in the beer, and the type of beer, but there was not anything to determine what was different from one wheat beer to another. I checked inside on the board of beers, and did not see any there either. The final area I’d like to mention cautiously was my service. I was seated immediately but very rarely returned to. I asked for another beer and had a question, but before I could ask it, the server ran inside, seated multiple tables and brought me the same one. I was hoping to try another. It happens. People are busy. With that being said, there was another server in the area who was SUPER attentive to their tables every needs, and even brought some extras to a table to help accommodate some little kids needs! Overall, good experience. I would like to come back in the future!
