If you like to wait for an exceptionally long time, get cold food, and experience the worst customer service known to man, then this place is for you. I recommend ordering anything from the menu, so you will be forced to wait forever for literally no reason. You can be the only one in line and still wait for over 20 mins, just for a mcdouble. If you like your orders being made with absolutely no care with what ends up in your bag, then definitely frequent this mcdonald's. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat while passing through lake city, you are better off going to one of the local sit down restaurants. You will wait just as long and your food will be hot. This mcdonald's is an absolute joke.

Once again, lake city McDonald's has proven to be the worst location in northern Michigan. My girlfriend and I ordered a mocha frappe and a chocolate shake, when we got to the window and they couldn't find my order in the computer. Finally found it, pulled ahead and they tried to give my 2 hot fudge sundaes. Then they gave me 2 frappe's, noting that the one with 'chocolate all over the lid and outside' is the shake. It may be a new fancy store on the outside, but the inner workings are all still the same

Lots of renavations. They have improved with speed and accuracy of the orders. Our food was hot and freash. The new area to sit and eat is clean and has a more modern look. Definitely a big improvement from years past.

Not impressed.The new set up is NOT inviting.. There was no one in the front when we came inside. We had to yell out to the kitchen for service,twice. They need to have a buzzer let staff know someone is out front. The floors and tables were not clean. The bathroom trash in both stalls were full. It was 10;30 in the morning. The Entrance Way Doors we're dirty and it smelled gross.

I came into the Lake McDonalds to use the restroom, then get a takeout order. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, fries & a lemonade. There must be a shortage of workers there because the lady taking orders was also having to go back & help cook, etc! I waited a while behind another customer, then waited quite a bit for my order. Got my order, then realized they'd forgotten my drink. I had to wait a few more minutes with my food in the bag. All workers were nice, but I won't use this location again.

Unfortunately almost always slow - even before COVID. If you want something "fast" avoid this fast food joint. Otherwise, the staff is usually friendly and accommodating.

I can't remember the last time I went to any mc'ds and things were right. The only reason I ever go is because somebody else wants it or it's the only close option on lunch hour. This particular time we ordered 2 double quarter pounder meals. Even though the box the sandwiches came in said "double quarter pounder" they both only had 1 patty on it. I could not stand for spending 25 dollars on 2 regular quarter pounders so I turned around and took them back inside (one of them had a bite out of it) and they just threw another patty on. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that goes against food safety regulations and they should have made them fresh again. There is just always something that goes wrong at any McDonald's. Burger King gets it right. I don't understand why they cant.
