They have a good selection of clothes although some of it can be a little pricey for a secondhand shop. As far as their buy-counter goes, it's not worth it, I brought an entire tote of newborn-3 month clothes, everything was folded neatly and separated by size in different bags within the tote with a sticky note saying exactly how much of what was in each bag with their sizes, they took a teddy bear swaddle worth at least $20 and a single onesie worth about $5 and gave us $2, don't waste your time trying to sell them clothes.

The senile old hag working counter today has got to be the rudest spinster I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. What an absolute horrible person. I really hope you don't have kids or grandkids. If you do I'd be embarrassed for your family. I can't imagine having such a Karen working for a company involved with children's items. From what it looks like this is a common occurrence from the reviews. Save the time and go to the Okemos location at least you'll be treated with respect. Will never come back to this location and will definitely will tell every parent I know to do the same.

Just wasted an hour drive here to see empty racks in the baby section. Workers didn’t great me and just spent the whole time gossiping about other employees. The low selections they had were worn down and from years ago it seemed.

I’ve been a loyal customer to them since my daughter was born and before that!! I’ve sold here twice but this time I DIDNT EVEN GET ACKNOWLEDGED when walking in. I stood right in front of a young woman who didn’t make eye contact with me. So I moved to the side of the counter where clothes are accepted and not one person said ANYTHING. I’m so disappointed and upset & y’all are lucky I had my daughter with me. The used clothes are nicer than these women working here.

Bad customer service. I took in a bin of clothes and was told i had to come back the next day because the buy counter was closed.. Wasnt open the next day. I went back a few days later with the same bin then the same girl told me they had to be in a tote with a lid..like you couldn't have told me this when you saw the bin the day before? Then the woman at the buy counter was rude and I guess she couldn't hear me through my mask because she yelled WHAT every time I spoke in a really annoyed demeanor. She was really rude and short with me. She was older so she must have some type of hearing problem, but I don't even let my child speak to me like this. I took in a variety of jackets, onsies, shoes, sandalds, bibs, and a brand new netted carseat cover for the summertime to keep bugs away since it's May and getting really nice out. They didn't accept one thing. They said they have too many onsies and dont need anything under 18mo, but my items were from nb-2T.. I asked about the other items and they just said "oh we wouldn't buy those" All of my items were brand new or worn maybe once because my daughter had a ton of clothes when she was born. Waste of time. Very annoyed with their behavior and laziness.

Lansing, MI location. Selling new and gently used toddler and young children's items, including a girl's wool Rothschild dress coat and hat purchased in Fall 2019@Macys (worn twice ), girls tennis shoes nwt (never worn), 3 V-tech toys w/batteries (played with only a few times), baby stand-up walker, children's books, and unopened puzzles. The woman said, "We have 11 items here, and we will pay you $11.19." That was the equivalent of $1.017 per item. I didn't not accept the offer. Frankly, I thought I misunderstood her. So I went back in the store and asked if I heard correctly. She went on to tell me about their computer generated prices. I'll donate the items before I accept their insulting offer.

Have to bring items your selling in a bin otherwise they will not look at it. Need to sign into the Kiosk and will need your Drivers license number.

Lansing Once Upon a Child location is a joke. I got a stroller here for $30, went to Walmart and it was on sale for $25, they refused to take it back because it wasn’t in good shape. I had bought it that day, I couldn’t find the receipt. Tried taking clothes back today. Most had tags on them, they wouldn’t take them because the tote didn’t have a lid. Don’t waste your time. They are over priced, and don’t pay enough for the hoops you have to jump through to bring clothes to sell.

We bought our oldest daughter a reversible Baby Phat coat and snow pants and got out of there for less than $15.00. Thankful for this store and the opportunity it brings to the community... Also have bought some shoes there. They were in great condition and under $10.00. Thank you.
