We needed emergency wheel services while driving along US 131 near Martin, Michigan. Martin Tire was less than two miles away, so we had our truck towed here. We were at the mercy of Mike and his shop to get our truck back on the road, both in work quality and cost. Meanwhile, we made it back to the Detroit area, to await repairs for a few days. I feel very lucky to have landed at Mike's shop. Costs were very reasonable and workmanship was professional. Martin Tire is off the "beaten path" but going here was a blessing in disguise. We received quality service at a very reasonable price, and we made a friend. Thank you, Mike!

Martin Tire is a small town gem. I got a nail in my tire late in the day. Calling, the owner told me to come on over. He and his crew stayed late, and repaired my tire. We have to support places like this, and Martin Tire specifically. A true small town treasure.

I met 2 gentlemen hauling a triple axle flatbed GN trailer that had blow inside tire. They pulled in to Walmart in Plainwell & was told they couldn't help them. I advised them to go North 1 exit on 131 to Martin Tire. They called ahead to make sure they had a tire. I was in to Martin Tire later that day. Lady at front counter said yes they made it in & thanked me for the rwferral. GREAT SERVICE- IN A SMALL TOWN!!!

I drive a half hour out of my way to go there for service. Honest people who work their tails off for their customers. It's just what you'd expect from a small shop - small crew with experience keeps rates competitive and they treat you like family. I've been in a bind a few times and they've gone above and beyond to take care of me as soon as humanly possible.

We came into town to help a family, after their father was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital. They need “spring” help. We got there lawn tractor running, but it had a tire that wouldn’t hold air. We called your store and the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The shop was extremely busy, but she still managed to get us taken care of in a very reasonable amount of time!!! I was quoted 15.00 per tire to take 4 tires off of 15” rv rims and mount and balance 4 new tires that I had purchased elsewhere. Now the quote was over the phone with Lori 2 weeks prior to me bringing them out to them. I dropped them off on Monday at 9:30 in the morning, and at 3:30 in the afternoon I called to see if they were done, Lori explained that they were busy and would get to them first thing in the morning. At 9:30 on Tuesday they were ready, I asked how much it would be thinking no big deal 4 tires off and 4 tires on and balance, well Lori said 120.00????? I said you quoted me 15.00 per tire 2 weeks ago, so she said how about 100.00, I said that was a far cry from the 60.00 you quoted 2 weeks ago , then she said how about 75.00, and I said if that’s what you have to have. Then she said ok, 60.00 is fine??? What gives, I was trying to get away from the Belle tire and Discount tire lies and rip offs and then you get it from your small town people also. All I can say is shame on Martin Tire in Martin mi. I will never be back and if I can discourage anyone else from patronizing this business, I will do so. William Nickerson Service: Tires
