Septic pumping. I had made an appointment with another company, one I had used previously, but for some reason this time they never showed up or communicated. I would call them, and they kept promising pumping... for which I waited around. They never showed up or initiated communication. This went on for four days! Enough! A family member recommended Smart Septic. Smart Septic showed up on time. They were professional, polite, and efficient. They explained everything and answered all my questions. BEST SEPTIC PUMPING IN THE KALAMAZOO-DECATUR, MI AREA!!! I looked up Septic pumping companies on 8/8/22 close to Decatur, MI and I found Smart Septic in Mattawan, MI. I sent them a text message and got a response back from one of the owners Andy very promptly. Andy texted me back that he had an opening on 8/10/22 @ 1030 hrs. The guys arrived this morning at 0930 hrs. They were clean and very professional. The truck and equipment looked new. My husband and I had opened up the hole that I thought they would need to pump from, little did we know that our septic has a filter on it to our drain field so they had to dig another hole to open that up(extra $150.00) that we could of avoided. Fortunately there were no issues with our septic other than we had used wet wipes and flushed them down our toilet and they had covered our filter and were not allowing the water to drain off to the field drain. So Agustin & Sebastian hosed them off the filter and then sucked them up with their pump. They said it was all in working order now and that we just need to clean that filter out once a year. Thank you guys for your prompt, speedy and very professional service. I highly recommend.

Very helpful in coming out ahead of time to mark where we needed to dig up connection to septic field tanks so that we could get them pumped out and did not have to pay for the digging fee. Very nice and good communication. Fair price. Would use again!

After waiting 4 weeks for a different company to "fit my pumping in as a filler job" I finally called Smart Septic. They were helpful and friendly, and scheduled the pumping for 1.5 weeks later.
