Well I don't know the internal operating expenses but they are extremely high in the price area. I did a test and shopped at Ebels and then shopped at Meijer. I saved over $80 shopping at Meijer and got more food. I made sure to buy the same things I usually buy and kept the brands as close as I could. I got better quality at Meijers than Ebels which was surprising to me. For a "christian" store I am shocked at some of the prices and how they don't source locally? Even with the gas prices it's cheaper for me to drive the extra 25 minutes.

Great store, full of a huge array of Meats, both fresh & frozen. There's a nice bakery & many different pre-made sandwiches & salads. Checkout is quick & friendly. It's a neat, clean store with well stocked shelves too.

Quality meat, yes, but also some great prices on other grocery items. You HAVE to try the smoked chicken. It was buy one, get one free today too. Last, but not least, very friendly cashier.

Very nice grocery store, although I found the prices to be a little high. There is a wide variety of deli foods, prepared salads, and meat. You can get darn near any meat you might want here. This is also a good place to come grab a quick lunch. It is nice that Reed City has a grocery store again!

So wonderful to have a grocery store in Reed City again. This store is always clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Their twice baked potato salad is AMAZING!!!! I also tried their chicken bacon ranch wrap and that is good as well.

This was something Reed City pretty desperately needed. The selection is decent, especially if you're there for meat, but it's no Walmart. The prices are a bit high too, but there aren't many other options in the area and the quality is great. Ebels really shines with some of their store brand selections though. The meat section is gigantic and has tons of options. The deli has great options and tons of prepared foods with insane variety. There's a little section with various soup mix powders too with the most options I've ever seen for soup that wasn't in a can. It's a great place for Reed City and a great place to pick up some groceries if it's not worth the trip to Big Rapids or you want some of their store brand stuff.

Super overpriced and some of their meat is rotten, the only thing that Ebels has that's actually worth the money is their spring water. Now I'm not looking to start a fight, I'm giving an honest review, let alone one small head of lettuce cost over $4.00. Sorry guys but not a good store.

Wow, really nice store. I used to go to the Falmouth store all the years but with this store it makes it a lot more convenient coming from Grand Rapids. As always I never been disappointed with any of my meat purchases over the years. Pricing is good in comparison to many others. I found that the groceries were very reasonably priced as well. Next time I will plan on doing more general shopping as well.
