These guys certainly know what they're doing. Always quick turnaround, professional, clean, courteous, honest and friendly. I drive a 93 Toyota 4Runner which I've had since 0 miles, and I only trust them to work on it. Not afraid of doing custom work within their capabilities. Would absolutely recommend for asian imports. They even find used OEM parts for me, which are typically much better than new generic aftermarket parts. Did I mention they're great??

I just called to try to make an appointment, since for years I have gone to Datsun Doctor. The "lady" on the phone told me that I was better off going to a dealership since she cannot make and appointment for my car until after thanksgiving. She told me that she doesn't know what she can do but the Dealership have tools to reset things that they don't.... Datsun Doctor needs to hire a replacement since I will never go there again BECAUSE ," They don't have tools or know what could be wrong with the car, (without seeing it I might add!!!) But the dealership does.. What a JOKE!!! Goodbye Datsun Doctor you a a huge disappointment after years of great service.

My car broke down unexpectedly. Talked the lady at the front desk. She was so very honest about the time frame. They fixed my car and didn't charge me as much as I thought it was going be. If I ever need my car fixed again I will bring it here. Thank you all.

Great family run shop. They have been working on our vehicles for 15 years from the world’s worst Honda Accord that we bought from an auction to our family hauling Honda Odyssey. Work is always done in a timely manner and handled professionally without sticking it to us like dealerships and other shops do. Ted and Betty and the service team have been very good to us through the years as this Michigan climate and roads take their toll on our vehicles. That’s why we drive almost an hour to keep getting our cars serviced here. Well worth it. Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Transmission, Engine repair, Auto engine diagnostic, General repairs & maintenance

Awesome small family business with many years of experience. I dropped my 2004 Acura TL off to be assessed for a steering wheel vibration issue I was having. Betty, the lady at the front desk communicated with me through the day on what the mechanic found and the solution for each problem. I like that she did not pressure me into getting every possible issue fixed that day. She let me know what items were important for the car to be safe and what future maintenance items I should consider. I ended up having a seized brake caliper, worn front sway bar link and out of balance tire. My high expectations (based on written reviews and a recommendation from a long time customer) were met and I look forward to working with Datsun Doctor in the future for both of my cars needs!

I took my 1978 Datsun 280z to the Datsun Doctor to get a fuel delivery issue diagnosed as well as some other repairs done. Betty promptly sent a list of costs for all recommended repairs. She had already located and ordered the parts. I felt the quote was fair and they truly have the customer's best interest in mind. Being able to pick up my car after hours was nice too since I live over an hour away and work during their business hours. The quality of the service and repairs were second to none. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on their import vehicle.

I was in an accident and insurance totalled my car. I owner retained and had Datsun Doctor fix the mechanical parts that needed to be done before it went to the body shop. Customer service is top notch. Really honest good people. Got done quickly. Very pleased. Oh, and as a woman that is also a car enthusiast, I never once felt patronized as I have many times with other shops. Will be taking my car here from now on.
