I ordered 2 pizzas, one was a Howie special onions on half . The kid who placed my order charged me for 2X onion . When I brought it back he refunded the $2 charge for extra onion and said I'm all set . I was annoyed, wanted my pizza remade, and was only going to remake that one . I insisted that both be remade so I have both pizzas fresh . (I thought this was standard protocol ? I don't want one fresh pizza and one cold one). Anyway, it took them about 40-45 minutes to remake because they had to do it twice . I guess the kid told his coworker "XL onion on half" to be remade, and that's what she made . XL onion on half . She did not know what my order was and followed the direction this kid gave . I gave 5 stars because they really went above and beyond making it right and this kids' co-workers were truly sorry for his mistake, including refunding the entire order and to my surprise gave me a free cookie with it . Food was delicious .

I just wanted something simple so I ordered stuffed cheese bread, I opened the box after it was delivered and my jaw dropped. I’m appalled that they would even box this and send this to a customer. I can guarantee had they cooked this for themselves they would have made themselves a new one. But instead they burn a paying customers food, box it up, and send it on its way…..only to get to the customer who can’t even bite off a piece because not only is it burnt to crisp, it’s fricking stale. NOT EDIBLE. AT ALL. So burnt the edges of bread curled. It’s disrespectful that they would see how burnt this is and not remake it. What a joke. I’d go somewhere else if I were you. Oh and don’t bother calling the 800 number that they provide on here when they want you to report something that upset you, I called and the person on the other end barely said two words and when I told her what happened, she condescendingly was like “ok???” - then at the very end of the conversation she says “well what do you want Hungry Howies to do about it?” - I’m sorry but, what? Isn’t that what the number is provided for is a solution? What a company!

Pizza and bread sticks were good as always but what compelled me to write a review was that the guy who gave me my food saw that I had my toddler with me & offered to carry the food out. While I didn’t take him up on it, the offer was really appreciated. (Wish I would have caught his name as he deserves the recognitions)

Just bought a salad, the guy at the counter was nice. However my salad has 2 dead bugs in it! I just paid almost 10 dollars for a salad to have to throw it away!

I ordered two pizzas and a cheese bread today around 530pm. I went into the location to pick it up knowing it probably wasn't ready yet. Paid for it and waited for it to finish. There was I think five people working, phones not ringing, no other customers there, no orders sitting in the warmer boxes.. therefore not busy. After coming back inside after being in the car for a while. A different employee then the first one asks how they can help me? Tell them my name and as he turns around another employee is sliding two pizzas into the warmer thing. (Happens to be my pizzas) he pulls them out then starts looking around. No cheesebread in sight. He walks to the back where all the other employees are only to come back and say "yeah they forgot to make your cheesebread they are going to make one now." At this point I look at the time and realize I can't wait 10 minutes or whatever for it to be made and cooked. I tell the kid I just need my money back. So he calls over the manager I would assume because he had to do the refund. He does not say ONE SINGLE WORD to me no I'm sorry about this or whatever, nothing. He acted as if I was irritating him as he thud, thud, thuds on the monitor. Then turns and walks away. The other employee steps back up and says "do you have the card you put it on?" No, I paid cash. So he calls the "manager" back over again, he doesn't say a word to me. This time thudding even harder on the screen. He hands me my money back I say thank you he turns and walks away. I moved to the area about 6 months ago and have ordered here probably 6 or 7 times. Today will be the last time. Total lack of respect, zero customer service, he never even apologized, let alone offered anything for their mistake.

The manager Brandon is truly a angel ! Honestly extremely kind and customer friendly as possible, his entire team is a reflection of him, The service is extremely fast and the building is clean, my pizza was fresh and he made sure we had paper plates as well as cups with napkins. You can tell some people just work for money but he actually care about people. I’m never going to another location again. Thank you so much.

Buy their gluten free pizza for my son. Only one he has liked. Tonight's crust was hard on the bottom, so bothersome my son only ate the toppings. Called, manager not a bit concerned. Won't be back Store supervisor contacted me today. Very nice conversation. She credited our pizza and will speak to the manager who I dealt with last night. Thank you for your response below.

Hungry Howies use to be great, then a few years so-so. They are great again. Best pizza in the world, maybe not, darn good pizza that is ALWAYS made as requested. Pictured is my pepperoni and bacon heavy Cajun crust extra well done. Exactly what I request. I am surprised how many places I request extra well done, and the pizzas still are barely more brown than usual. Howies is not afraid to give me what I ask for. On top of that, their seasoned crusts, they must have more options than any other place, and they don't skimp. Howie Bread (breadsticks) I've heard comments not always the best. Request extra butter and parmesan cheese, and you WILL really like them.
