Decent food. Not very authentic besides the corn tortillas. Rice was short grain and beans were kind of soupy. I had the Al pastor Pork tacos. Did not taste or look like any I have ever had. It was a little dry even though there was a good sauce on the side. It was also red like food coloring of a Chinese crispy pork. It wouldn't be such a low rating if it wasn't over $20 for takeout. I had four tacos, rice, beans and water.

Haven’t eaten here in three years. Now we remember why. Overpriced unflavored Mexican food. Barely a 1/4 cup of unflavored rice and a brown soupy something that we think were refried beans. Boring red sauce on the enchiladas. Greasy tortilla chips. We’ll look elsewhere next time.

Bought $60 worth of food for my boyfriend and I. It was worth $0. The steak wasn’t steak. It was some other form of beef that I’m not aware of. There’s no taste to the food. We threw it all away after a few bites unfortunately. We ordered the burrito, flautas and quesadilla. If you know Mexican food this isn’t Mexican food. Go somewhere else.

A fun little place. VERY friendly, good size menu, really good home made EVERYTHING. The Tri Leche is to good to be legal!!😊 Mostly carry out, good portions, salsa good. Our new MUST visit in T.C.

Moved to Traverse City from Southern California...we KNOW Mexican food. This is by far the best Mexica food you will get in this area! Not any of those bigger restaurants even come close to comparing. You must try!

Maybe I went on a bad day, I don’t know. I was so looking forward to having some tasty Oaxacan food, like the sign said. But instead, the food had very little seasoning and Mexican food is famous for it’s strong flavors. Also, this taco was really a big burrito, but not wrapped like one. I couldn’t pick it up without it all falling apart. So I tried to eat it with the very flimsy knife and fork they gave me and ended up eating pieces of foil and cutting through the styrofoam container. I was also looking forward to some aguas frescas, but they didn’t have any. It’s too bad bc I think they would sell like crazy. I saw some tres leches in the fridge and was tempted to get a slice but was afraid it might be bland too. And I’m sorry to say everything was overpriced.

Actually... it was the BEST authentic Mexican food in Northern Michigan! Kudos to staff & Chef/owner! We will be back as often as we are in Traverse City or Shorts Brewery (they have a Taco stand there!)

I was so happy to find this place. Being a recent transplant from Chicago, I've been craving good Mexican food...and here it is. Stopped in for lunch after running errands. It did take a while to get our food, but it was worth it. There's a nice sitting area out back where we let our dog out and sat and ate. My only criticism was the beef was a little salty for my taste. Otherwise 5 stars.

I travel for work frequently, and the one time I’m here for leisure had the worst customer service here. These people have no common sense, you would think if I’m buying $80 of catering for food I would get chips to come with it? No they told me they were $6 for chips that have been sitting on the rack for a week, to conclude we get back to our Air B and B to find out we were missing our $6 salsa. We called and they said they gave it to us, then they called back saying they did forget it. Over priced, very little food, this place is over rated. Never again. What a joke.
