Not a review persay but a positive memory... I remember walking to this store with my Grandmother when I was a kid when they lived on Cricklewood. Must have been late 70s or very early 80s. Growing up in Allendale, I was fascinated that you could actually walk to places like this. That's it. ;)

2021 My husband and I are from Brighton, Michigan. When we visit my sister in Wyoming, Michigan we will stop by the Steve DeYoung Big Top store. You can find just about any kind of meat at the store! Steve DeYoung is an amazing man! When my husband and I were shopping at his store, we found out he was there and was able to get a picture of him with us! He is a hard worker and a good person! While we were there he was stocking shelves and mowing the lawn! And we see a lot of Christian literature in his store which is pretty amazing for us!!! Glad to have met Steve DeYoung!!! GOD Bless you all!!!

Prices are about the same as family fare. You do not need to input your ph. as they already subtract. You have stop and think which store is cheaper. They do have butcher and meat dept. also expanded hispanic meat products.

VERY BUSY! My first trip here. They have a wide selection of Goya foods, the produce and meat looked good, my cashier (and others I heard) were very courteous and kind. Prices seemed higher than I'm used to at Meijer but then again I typically buy on sale... and prices are generally higher anyway. Their brand is 'Our Family'. I won't go out of my way to shop here, but it's good if I'm in the neighborhood.

Excellent locally owned and operated grocery store. No frills and may not look like much. BUT, this place has the finest butcher shop and fresh fish/poultry area on this side of the state! Everything any ethnic group could want. Steaks, cow tongue, chicken feet, sweet bread, head cheese, fresh slice bacon, homemade sausages. You name it. Also has a fresh produce and seasoning section with many non-standard items too!
