I been a long long time customer for years Dave is my go to guy my sales rep. Never had a problem with them or Kay Jewelers. Always been taken care of & always got the best deals & shiny fine jewelry. That lasted me for years & still have in new condition. i wouldn’t shop anywhere else but here. I have all my business there handled.

Kay's jewelry is a rip off and I had a warranty and they still rip me off, when I had my rings sizes my wedding, Anniversary and a thumb ring first they sizes my rings too small. Second time I pleaded to them for the sizing, from when they we're first measure Each time they take more and more gold. And my diamond earrings Kay's said it was 14K gold but they wasn't. other wise My skin wouldn't have been breaking out!!! I've been gong to Kay's for years Not any more. I didn't do business with rip off 😪

My husband and I purchased a wedding ring from the Outlet in Eagan in November of 2021. The ring that was closest to what I wanted ended up being a pre-owned ring, but it didn’t bother me and the ring was also offered with a warranty. Near the beginning of the year, I lost a stone. Using my warranty, I sent in the ring to be fixed. I used the Kay in Blaine because it was closest to home. This happened on two more occasions in the following 5 months, with my ring being sent in for repair, immediately each time. The last time, Kay (Blaine) wrote a note to the jeweler and sent it along with my ring, advising them to check every single setting to ensure tightness. I get the ring back and everything seems fine. June 12th, I go into Kay Jewelers at the Rosedale mall, for a simple cleaning and was told that one of my diamonds was loose. They offered to send it in to the jeweler once again, but my husband and I were frustrated and wanted more than a temporary fix, so we decided to go to the Kay Outlet in Eagan to discuss the issue with a manager at the store it was originally purchased from. Once we get to Kay (Eagan) we explained to the manager why were there, but she offered no empathy and simply offered to send in the ring to a jeweler for repair. To us, that wasn't a sufficient solution. Because we had sent in the ring for repair 3 times since we purchased it in November, and because it was a pre-owned ring that was obviously a faulty or damaged ring prior to it ever being on my left hand, my husband and I had hoped for a refund instead. But the manager made it clear, that that wouldn't happen. She stated that when her diamonds fall out of her rings, she simply sends them in for repair, "no big deal." She also stated that because I purchased a pre-owned ring, that is the risk I accepted; was having stones regularly fall out. We felt the manger blatantly minimized our concern and basically told us that because we didn't have the budget to purchase a ring brand new, that I am just going to have to deal with having a ring that loses stones. She offered to exchange the ring for something else for the original purchase price. But my husband and I were not interested. The manager then took the ring under the scope to poke at each diamond, to check for tightness. A minute or so later, she said there was "nothing wrong" with my ring so she had "no idea" what the Kay staff at other store (Rosedale) were talking about. I wish I would have had the mind to get her name at the time. We returned to Kay (Rosedale) so they could show me which diamond was loose. One of the staff members took my ring and pointed it out to me. She even showed me under the microscope when I asked her. There was indeed a loose stone. A week later, I decided to return to the Kay (Rosedale) to have my ring sent in for repair. I was assured that they use a different jeweler than the Blaine and Eagan stores, so there is a chance I may have better success. On that day, it was on paper that I was sending it in for a loose stone and a new, broken prong. When it was returned to me I learned this new jeweler replaced the bottom of my ring band with new metal, reshaped the entire ring, added rhodium plating, re-did 40 prongs, and tightened every stone. Although this ring should have been refurbished this way to begin with, I appreciated the time and care the jeweler put into my ring after everything I have been through. 1. Avoid Kay Jewelers. 2. If can’t go anywhere else, absolutely do your business anywhere other than the Kay Outlet (Eagan). 3. You should also stay away from the Blaine store, their jeweler is hack and you’ll have to send your ring in, again and again. 4. Don't buy Kay's product without a warranty. They care more about the sale than standing behind their product or customer service. 5. The staff are not equally trained to be able to identify faults in the jewelry they sell. Don't be sorry to get more than one opinion as your warranty allows.

The service was great, even though there were only 2 sales reps, they still cleaned 5 pieces of jewelry for us and replaced a watch battery, they didn't have the tool for the 2nd watch so they didn't charge us for the battery they did replace! Great job, great costumer service!

I've been going to this site for a few years but last visit was bad!! I requested my rings be resized and sodered together. My 3 rings came back, the first two came back and 2 weeks after that and not sodered. No apologies was only informed that the person who did the order no longer works there. Nothing else for my inconvenience and may I add that I am disabled and can't walk far. Rings are still not sodered!!

So. Twice I have tried to come here this week. No luck. First time was after 7pm. They don't have their current hours posted on the website. The mall closes at 7pm. Ugg. Second time I was here well before closing but they already have their gate shut. Like What??@$!!. How am I.... ?? do you guys want business.. I'm so frustrated.

I was always a loyal Zales customer and was sad to see them go. I tried Kay’s to see if anything was similar. It’s not. Not only is the selection poor, but the customer service was atrocious. The man working was sitting down and staring at his cell phone the entire time. I looked around the entire store to see if he’d greet me, nope. I went to Helzburg after and made a purchase there. Will not go here again.

[!] SWAPPED or cracked my diamond and won't rectify : Brought my engagement ring to this location to have it resized one size smaller and the center diamond was either cracked or chipped or they just swapped it for an entirely different low quality diamond. They didn't even take before pictures that weren't a fuzzy blur so basically told me that my diamond has a giant "inclusion" or crack (couldn't tell me exactly which it was) inclusions don't just appear and didn't exist prior to them sending it off to be re sized. I'm just hurt, honestly, to insult my intelligence, telling me that this stone was the same one we hand picked and inspected very closely prior to purchasing. Taking the memories and meaning away like that. My poor fiancé saved a good chunk of change and for this to take place is just heartbreaking 💔

I recently bought a pair of white gold hoops from this location. The sales representative helped me pick them out. A taller man with medium length hair. I went in because I wanted to start building my own jewelry collection and purchase my first piece of gold jewelry. Well, he finally convinces me to go over my budget that I walked in with to get the hoop earrings. I had them for MAYBE 2 weeks before the cheap little claps caused one to fall out of my ear and I lost an earring. $150 is too much money to spend on a product that you will only own for a short amount of time. I keep trying to review the earrings themselves on their website but it conviently never shows up when I submit my review. I have tried calling the location many times as well, and no one ever actually picks up. This is my first and only purchase I will EVER make and ANY Kay's. Horrible product and customer service. One last note: I went into the location and first worked with a woman telling her I wanted something classic and something that would be a staple to my wardrobe. After many times of telling her I was NOT engaged, she still managed to sit be down in front of the ring displays and tell me exactly what I needed despite telling her 5+ times I was not interested in an engagement ring. This company and their employees don't care about quality or customer service and it really shows.
