Watch out for the Service Writers! I bought a used 2018 Honda Civic out of state from a Honda dealership. 970 miles on it. I purchased it in November of 2021. I brought it in for my first oil change and had a wonderful experience. I did all of the recommended extras. Brought it back for my next oil change to use up the two free oil changes that came with purchasing the certified vehicle. This time the guy that was helping me recommended a rear alignment and a couple of other simple things. Apparently the vehicle will tell them when it is out of alignment (At less than 20,000 miles on the car). I said sure. I asked about using my second free oil change and he told me I could not because I had owned the vehicle for over a year and gone too many miles. I said ok and paid the full price. Not an issue but needless to say I felt like the guy was playing me considering that Honda told me I had two free oil changes and I had owned the vehicle for less than a year and brought the vehicle in at less than the recommended oil change intervals. I will not go back to this dealership for service. It wasn't the free stuff. It was the way the guy quickly without thinking responded with the answer and how quickly he told me I needed an alignment.

My experience at Luther Brookdale was excellent. Merwyn, the sales person was a pleasure to work with. Tanner, the finance person also was very courteous and helpful. The crew that installed my roof rails were also diligent and did fine work. I have been very happy with everyone associated with buying my vehicle.

Joe was courteous, informative and attentive. He answered all of my questions without hesitation and was genuinely interested in ensuring that he answered to my satisfaction. He made the process of purchasing a new vehicle seamless, and in fact, compared to other car buying experiences, this was probably the quickest. Had good experience in the past but this last visit will make me never come back. I did not need a diagnostic, which was forced upon me. Came in for front passenger sway bar with a quote of $145 and left paying an extra $100 on top because someone chose not to listen. I knew my problem that needed to get fixed. First mechanic says it wasn’t and that was coming from the rear. Had to switch to a senior mechanic which I had to pay for diagnostic. It turns out no problems from the rear. I believe I been scam by the service department to them to make more money. Words of advise to the advisors: next time listen and just do what your customer ask. Don’t try to make more money for your quota. You will lose in the long run.

Ryan Giles is not only an excellent sales associate but an excellent person as well. From the beginning, he was always trying to provide solutions in the search for our perfect car and also with a very high commitment to resolving the financing. Responding to all our messages and calls no matter the time, no matter if he was assisting other customers. After he helped us to get our car, he taught us all the functionalities of our Honda HR-V and continued weeks later supporting us with other car matters. I felt that the service here was exceptional! The service center staff was very knowledgeable, kind, and genuine. Chad was the main contact person in regards to the services needed for my car and he was very professional. Communication was great.
