Just bought a 2023 Mazda CX-5 and my experience with the dealership was top-notch. Working with Melissa Garvey was the best! She is professional, knowledgeable, and great with communication. This was my first Mazda so I was somewhat indecisive but she helped me narrow things down and I ended up with a vehicle I really enjoy. However, be very cautious with financing. I worked with Sean and he was such a nice guy. What’s annoying me is that I was approved for a rate of 3.9% with Mazda financing but when it was all done I was locked in at 4.9% with top-tier credit. It was only 1% difference but I understand now that he used this to do “payment packing.” This allows the dealership to extend the life of the loan (now 72 months which I did not want) and add on warranties and other things you have no clue what you’re paying for. I received a large booklet with all the terms and sent on my merry way. I did find this practice deceptive and troubling and will be more aware next time. In addition, I had a trade-in that was paid-off and I know he gave me erroneous information about needing a lien card. I provided a title showing payoff with no lien-holder so he was mistaken. Even with the financing misinformation and questions that I had, I’m still giving the dealership 5 stars. They offer excellent service and I would still recommend my family to go here.

I had a positive experience here. Melissa was extremely helpful and got me into a vehicle that I truly love. Very friendly staff, accurate delivery estimates, and they were very accommodating when it came to doing test drives. There was no pressure whatsoever like others have said. I also liked that they gave me a solid overview of the car’s features after purchase, I don’t see that a lot. I have been to many dealerships and this one was one of the best.

Don't trust buying a used car from them! Bought a used 2016 Nissan Versa Note. It had several obvious flaws (needed new tires and rear door didn't latch) when we looked at it, but we negotiated to have them fix them before buying. The promised us they had inspected the car and it passed on everything else. When we got home we realized the front headlamp was not working and was simply left unplugged. Also discovered the fuse for the power/lighter was also blown, so that didn't work. A rattle started a week later. When we took it in they discovered another $650 of obvious fixes plus a poorly secured heat shield. We were desperate to get a car quick, trusted them and paid the price. Don't trust their used car inspections at all. Lesson learned.

This when first built was a very nice dealership. They haven’t kept up so well on cleaning. The walls and the place especially where people sit on there laptops is absolutely disgusting. I have attached a picture. The carpet is all ripped up and looks dirty. Also there is. Salesperson who is on a knee scooter who smokes right in front of the door every 15 minutes. I was there for over an hour and he smoked 5 times.

I had such an easy experience at Luther Brookdale Mazda. I’ve had some negative experiences at other dealerships in the past so I was really dreading my appointment. Alex Rensch was my main contact, and right off the bat it was clear that he would not pressure or patronize me. Alex was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. He responded to all of my questions quickly and kept me informed throughout my car buying experience. He helped me secure the car of my dreams and gave me a new positive car buying core memory (which is no small thing). 🙌 I would highly recommend working with Alex if you want someone who is not only knowledgeable, but makes you feel comfortable and valued as a customer.

We had a great experience with James. We were looking to purchase a 2017 Range Rover Evoque. We scheduled a time to test drive the car and by the time we arrived at the dealership James had pulled the car. He was very thorough in his responses and answered pretty much all our questions. We contacted James the following day and informed him of our decision to purchase the vehicle. We came the following day to finalize the purchase and even though it was his day off. He showed up to make the purchase transaction went smoothly. Overall I would highly recommend James.

Working with Melissa was seamless and perfect, . After our first meeting she called periodically to see how I was doing and check in regarding my interest on the car. It was never too much, just the right amount of contact. I would recommend her to any Mazda customer. Melissa was professional, personable, knowledgeable, authentic and so easy to work with. I worked with Amelia who helped me get into the exact vehicle that I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable and even helped me on her day off when I had questions - she truly went above and beyond to make it a great experience. I also loved my rep in the finance dept, I believe she used to be the service manager. I didn't feel pressured at anytime by sales or finance and the team all worked quickly to get me set up and on my way back to work. I have only returned once since my purchase, to get my plates put on, and the service dept was great during that quick visit.
