New Gild has a joyful Santa's Workshop feel to it as co-owners, Jenifer and designer/master jeweler Kelsey, and several 'elves' are busily working their craft. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

I am probably one of the most meticulous and neurotic people out there. I am routinely told that I am stubbornly passionate about getting things exactly as I want them. I came into New Gild with a vision and a challenge. I asked Jen to create something for me that to my knowledge has never been done before. She did not disappoint. We went back and forth making sure to give me her knowledge as a professional in designing the engagement ring for my wife. While also being able to treat me with respect when I rejected many rings she brought to my attention. Always striving to work within my budget, she was able to make my dreams a reality. So much so that when it came to the bands I knew that she was the only one who would do them justice. From now until the end of time I will always have my jewelry crafted here. So much talent and professionalism you rarely see.

This is an absolutely wonderful establishment in downtown Linden Hills. Jen and the team at New Gild are creative, gracious, highly responsive, and wonderful to work with and we've had two great experiences there. Their pieces are one of a kind and they are known for working with you to co-create something special. They also support the local community. Highly recommend!

I had a string of pearls restrung mostly for sentimental reasons. The wonderful team (led by Jen B.) did an amazing job of making these these pearls look updated and so lovely! No wonder this store has become such a landmark in Linden Hills.

I found New Gild when looking for a jeweler who could do custom engagement rings and fit the style that my fiance was looking for. When I went in and showed them some of the ideas I had for the ring, I knew they were the right choice. They listened to my ideas and helped me make the right decisions to make a beautiful engagement ring which would last forever. They weren’t pushy and didn’t tell me what couldn’t be done, but rather they helped me understand the advantages and disadvantages of each decision. In the end it was up to me to decide. Throughout the whole process they were great partners who crafted a beautiful engagement ring which my fiance loved. Needed to find an urgent fix on my wedding ring on a Saturday due to leaving town on Monday! The original jeweler I purchased my ring from was in my hometown several hours away and the New Gild came to my rescue! They fit me in not only same day but re soldered and cleaned my ring in 15 minutes for a steal of a price ($69!). I only had realized the one major crack that was pinching my skin but upon inspection they found another hairline crack and went above and beyond and fixed them both in the same service to make my ring good as new! Can’t be happier with this beautiful little boutique store and the customer service and quality of work here! Additional shout out to the Knox jewelers for recommending me to this location!

Everything about my experience with the team at New Gild has exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend them without hesitation! I looked around the twin cities for a jeweler to help me turn an antique diamond brooch into an engagement ring and wedding band. I spoke with quite a few great people, but Jen at New Gild stood out. We were able to turn the center stone from the brooch into a beautiful solitaire engagement ring. Their ability and knowledge in working with the odd shaped mine-cut stones was incredibly reassuring, and their dedication to making a product that would look beautiful and last a life-time came across in every conversation. After the engagement my fiancé and I decided to design her wedding band together and continued to work with New Gild. We really did not know what would be possible going in, and the team at New Gild constantly impressed us with what they were capable of. They were able to take our ideas and turn them into a beautiful piece of jewelry, without compromise. If you are looking for a Jeweler to do custom work, especially with vintage or unique materials, you won’t find anywhere better.

I brought a family heirloom cocktail ring to be resized and repaired. The total cost of the work was about $250, and when I got the ring back it looked amazing. I wore the ring all the way home and marveled at the sparkle. The second I sat down in my house to my horror, I noticed one of the four stones missing. Between picking up the ring and driving home, I had not done anything extreme with my hands that would have caused trauma to the ring. I immediately called New Gild and explained what happened which was about an hour after I picked up the ring due to my drive. They said they probably couldn’t replace the stone (which was cubic zirconia not a diamond), but that I should bring it back in. I spent several hours searching on my hands and knees for the tiny stone, and luckily, I did find it. When I brought the stone and ring in, they said the prong was very weak for both white stones (which they missed on the initial inspection). I had to pay for the additional prongs to be fixed. After all this, I am not sure I would trust them with another family heirloom. I understand my ring was not of high monetary value, but I still expected it to be treated as if it were priceless.
