This has happened several times to me, but today just did it in for me. I dropped off a prescription to this pharmacy around 10am. The clerk told me that she needed to check to see if they had it in stock, and when she came back she told me they did. At 1:00 I still had not heard from the pharmacy, so I called and asked for an update. I was then told that they were out of stock. So I have been sitting around for 3 hours for nothing and was not made aware of the issue. I could have taken it to another pharmacy in the meantime and still not be in excruciating pain 3 hours after delivering a prescription. Again, this has been an ongoing issue with this pharmacy. There have been several times where a doctor’s office called in a prescription- I wait 5-6 hours and have to call myself to find out they are out of stock. I will NEVER use WalMart pharmacy in Starkville again! Zero customer service.

The pharmacy at this location takes dreadfully forever to get your prescriptions filled. There's also typically a lot of people backed up since it's pretty slow. Expect to wait much longer than 30-40 minutes. The pharmacy over at the Neighborhood Market Location has better and nicer pharmacists, and it took like, five minutes or so to get the rest of my medicine there!! I still went back to using CVS though.

Staff is incredibly rude. I attempted to order my medication over phone (different generic brand month before, wanted to change it to original brand I was taking before for next month). Woman over the phone asked me for my birthday at least 5 times. Several times of giving her the same date I could hear over the phone (talking to a coworker) “OH NOW she says it’s *this date *” and hung up on me. If you’re going to accuse a customer of changing their birthdate (though the truth is you have poor hearing), at least mute yourself! On another note, the pharmacist at the secondary location (neighborhood Walmart) tried to tell me Claritin was a good substitute for Benadryl. No ma’am, it is not! Definitely taking my business to Kroger pharmacy.

Absolutely horrible. Always making me and my family wait for prescriptions. Sometimes I’ll be having to be somewhere soon, and will have to make the decision between getting medicine and being late, or being on time and having to get it the next day because they didn’t get the medicine filled in the amount of time they told me it would be filled and tell me I’ll have to wait another 15-20 minutes. Also rarely giving my parents their proper prescription amount and having to make another trip back to starkville for the rest of it. They are both elderly recovering cancer patients and we don’t really have the most gas efficient vehicle and live 40 miles away, so it really sucks to have to make the trip all the way back to starkville just because they couldn’t give them the rest of their medicine when they paid the full price for it. Starkville walmart pharmacy customers are treated like absolute dogshit, and several people we know including ourselves are treated like they are lesser people just because they don’t want to wait around all day when the pharmacists are the ones who messed up the order, and because they need their medicine just to make it through the day. Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not go to the starkville walmart pharmacy. We are currently changing to Walgreens pharmacy as told by many others who switched from walmart is much much better, and doesn’t treat their customers horribly. We advise you to do the same.

This Walmart has always been my least favorite because most of the employees are rude and have no personalities whatsoever and the car service center is ridiculous. But I can say the Pharmacy has always been a great help, and Rochelle is a dedicated employee who went above and beyond to help me get my insurance straight!

Like most Walmarts. Lots of stuff in a variety of departments. Customer service is helpful most of the time. My experience with the car service personnel has been disappointing.
