Best pharmacy. It doesn't matter if you're calling the pharmacy, in store, or going through the drive through - they always go above and beyond service wise. Genuinely surprised at how low the rating is. Hours can be weird some weeks, but who doesn't have staffing problems post pandemic...?

Went to try to pick up my prescription at 7:10pm on a Thursday night. Entire store is locked up and drive thru on the pharmacy said they were closed. This is despite the pharmacy posting hours showing they were open till 9pm and the store had hours posted that day they're open till 10pm. This is the third time I've gone there when no pharmacist was on duty. Having all my prescriptions switched to another pharmacy.

Each car in the drive through took about 15 minutes each. When I pulled up to the drive through it was clear why. The CVS employee took 5 minutes to ask for my confirmation code and another 5 minutes to hand me the test, while continuously chit-chatting with her coworkers.

Called because I was needing to fill an emergency prescription and I wanted to make sure when they would close...they confirmed 10pm...and when I went to pick up said EMERGENT prescription they were closed...at 8:30. So now I am trying to transfer a prescription and I am running out of time because none of these people want to work apparently.

Absolutely no customer service at all. The lady in the drive thru keep taking to her co worker. Take about 30 minutes and after 30 minutes. Says that the cvs site crashed.

We showed up to our 4 appointments only to be lied to concerning their ability to issue our tests. We were told to call back in the afternoon when someone with experience would be available for the testing. We called and no one answered, so we remained on hold and drove back to the location. We could hear the automated phone system state "Pharmacy Call" repeatedly, while the two pharmacists ignored it. When we stated the obvious to the pharmacist, she finally admitted that they lied to us, and no one was going to be in later that afternoon to help. So the appointments that I could have set at another location are now null and void. Absolutely the most unprofessional, unacceptable, devoid of moral behavior that I have ever encountered! This occurred at the location on Blue Ridge and Bannister in Kansas City, Missouri.

Scheduled a COVID test for 5 days after symptoms then when I show up to my appointment, after multiple notifications telling me not to be late they tell me that they aren’t doing COVID tests anymore. So why did I wait 5 days? Why wasn’t I informed that they weren’t doing tests before I wasted my time. Now I’m out money because my job won’t let me return without negative results. And I have to schedule another appointment elsewhere another few days out.

This place needs new management or new employees. Most of the staff I have interacted with are super slow and act like they could care less. They are just there for a paycheck. The phone rings off the hook for sometimes 30 minutes or more. One time my doctor had to call them because they accidentally threw my prescription away. My doctor told me she was on the phone for 30 minutes waiting to speak to someone. This is not ok. Also, the facilities look very run down and look like they are from the early 90s. Its a shame because the building itself is very spacious and is eye catching from the outside. It's time for a makeover CVS come on! I think Im gonna find another CVS because I don't want to continue being treated this way.

Would love to put 0 stars if possible, be prepared to wait around 45 minutes with or without a line when it comes to the drive thru. And the worst customer service u have seen.

I have to single out the staff in the Pharmacy. From the Pharmacist, to the Med Techs and cashier's...all care about the customer and it shows in how they go out of their way to find an answer to unresolved questions, or addressing the worry and concerns of an uneasy patient. My wife has had medical issues for the last 18 months, and after 3 other pharmacies treated us poorly, we switched all prescriptions to CVS store #8609 and we have not been in better hands. The only downside to this store, is often the front is unattended so the employee is often stocking a shelf , while a customer needs check out help at the register.
