I do not understand why this store decided to do the most inconvenient thing, and got rid of all the hand baskets. Now you either have to juggle all your items like a contortionist, or push around an entire cart, even if you just need a handful of things. It’s dumb, and I’ve never seen a grocery store without hand baskets, and I can’t help but think that they are trying to assume that we will subconsciously buy more things if we are already pushing around a whole cart, and frankly, it annoys me far more than is reasonable, but it truly bothers me every time I go in here now, and I’d rather drive further away to go to a hyvee, that’s a better grocery store anyhow, and this is, for some strange reason, the final nail in the coffin unless I only need things that I can carry myself without a cart.

On Sunday, 5/22, I was scrambling to put together a bday party for my grandson on very short notice. He was turning 4 and he loves Spider-Man! I went to the LSM store on Woods Chapel to get bday cake and balloons. I knew I wouldn’t be able to find a Spider-Man cake but I was hoping to find something then put a Spider-Man figure on top and make it work. I talked to Rihann (sorry if I mis spelled her name) in the bakery. She went above and beyond to make me a cake and added a Spider-Man Topper. Her kind, courteous and professional response to my needs along with Terry in the florist office making A great balloon arrangement, helped to make my grandson’s bday a big success! He was so happy when he saw the cake. Thanks Rihann and Terry!

Decent store. Would be better if the checkers were pleasant. It sure seems like many checkers are not happy working for Consentino’s. Also, the baggers need to be trained how to bag like they once were trained.

Great place to do grocery shopping. Good parking, easy to get in and out. Good location. Has a great selection of things to buy, ranging from inexpensive to great brands. Huge liquor selection, including beer and wine. Well-maintained, clean interior.

I’ve lived in the the Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Independence area for the majority of my life. This is the nicest Price Chopper in the area. Their Deli selection is filled with imported meats and cheeses, the liquor selection is top notch. If they don’t have what you want, they will be sure to order it at your request. August 25th I stopped in to do a little shopping and they had fresh cut flowers for $5 a bunch😀💐. I was able to send a little happiness to 3 ladies residing in a local senior living complex. I paid $10 to receive a priceless return of smiles.
