On Sunday, 5/22, I was scrambling to put together a bday party for my grandson on very short notice. He was turning 4 and he loves Spider-Man! I went to the LSM store on Woods Chapel to get bday cake and balloons. I knew I wouldn’t be able to find a Spider-Man cake but I was hoping to find something then put a Spider-Man figure on top and make it work. I talked to Rihann (sorry if I mis spelled her name) in the bakery. She went above and beyond to make me a cake and added a Spider-Man Topper. Her kind, courteous and professional response to my needs along with Terry in the florist office making A great balloon arrangement, helped to make my grandson’s bday a big success! He was so happy when he saw the cake. Thanks Rihann and Terry! ~Brian

I love this location. Haley is the most personable, outgoing, cashier every time I’m in the store. She has shopped for me on multiple occasions and always goes out of her way to do a fantastic job. The store is always clean and has great produce too. Love it! ~M

I don’t have much to say regarding the recycle container, but Google asked me to so here goes. I wasn’t really into recycling to this extent. My sister asked me to do it for 30 days. Separate all glass containers from my trash and see how much I have at the end. Glass is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly without loss in quality or purity. Glass is made from readily-available domestic materials, such as sand, soda ash, limestone and “cullet,” the industry term for furnace-ready recycled glass. It’s not a lot, but if everyone puts 12 items a month in a Ripple Container it will definitely make a difference😺 ~Michele

Very good coffees that are roasted in house. Owner roasts in house and understands his coffees. Roaster on display in main sitting area is a work of art itself. Staff very friendly and owner took the time to show his roaster and explain his coffees. Nice quiet cozy setting for some of the best tasting coffee around!! Had kid friendly drinks/shakes so kids felt part of the AM coffee experience! ~JLG

So in the whole schtick of reviewing largely homogeneous inventory chains, this one did well. I’ve gone to local aldis in kc, independence, Raytown, Roland park, brookside and now… Lee’s summit. And. All the stuff was EXACTLY the same…. But. This one was out of so many things. I went mid afternoon on a Saturday. They were out of the ground beef and ground turkey I generally get as well as the sliced cheese I normally get which is….. uncommon although I’m sure they will blame it on Covid. They actually had TWO in-person lines going which each were 3-4 people long, but the checkers were low-key ninjas and got people through quickly prior to kickoff. Nice experience despite the stock issues. ~running

This was my first time personally taking a vehicle in to Derek's and I will definitely be back! I wanted to get my transmission flushed and had called a couple of places and Derek's prices were the best! I was told it would take X amount of time and I told them I would have to wait there on it and they got it done well before my expected wait time and my truck runs like it's brand new again! Would love to give this business 10 stars if I could. We work right behind this office at a title company. We had an elderly couple close on their home yesterday and when they went to leave their car wouldn't start. Will came over from O'reiley's to check out what was going on with the help of Dave who is also an employee at this store. They were able to jump start the vehicle for this couple and they were able to make it home. These two gentlemen went above and beyond for people they didn't even know. We are so grateful that they were able to help with this situation. The couple was calling for a tow truck and had a long drive home and no way to get there. My husband called on a Friday afternoon, got a next day 7:30 am appt to replace front brakes, remove rusted out running boards and check AC unit. The manager, Mike, greeted us with a smile, was very personable and straight-forward. He quoted us a price, kept me informed on the progress of the work, stated concerns throughout the process. I picked up my vehicle just before close of business and was very pleased with the efficiency and quality of the work done. Mike also recommended another business to address work that his should could not help me with. I highly recommend using this Meineke shop. I appreciate their truthfulness and efficiency! ~Diane
