My husband called on a Friday afternoon, got a next day 7:30 am appt to replace front brakes, remove rusted out running boards and check AC unit. The manager, Mike, greeted us with a smile, was very personable and straight-forward. He quoted us a price, kept me informed on the progress of the work, stated concerns throughout the process. I picked up my vehicle just before close of business and was very pleased with the efficiency and quality of the work done. Mike also recommended another business to address work that his should could not help me with. I highly recommend using this Meineke shop. I appreciate their truthfulness and efficiency!

Called Mike and told him I needed a complete brake repair to include brake pads, rotors, and calipers. He simply asked me why I felt I needed calipers? This question was critical because it showed me that he wasn't trying to sell me something I didn't need. It also showed me that these guys were honest. Took my car in because my brakes were grabbing on one side. After taking my car in and having them inspect it, they told me that there are moving parts within the braking system that require lube for them to work properly. Said my pads and rotors looked good but its just dry in the moving parts. After the repair, they tool it for a test drive and said there was a slight squeeze, but mechanically there was nothing wrong with my brakes. Mike said if its something you can't live with we can put a new set of brakes and rotors on but the calipers were good. My guess was that since the parts weren't moving correctly, it may have caused some rotor warping. Getting a new set of pads and rotors today 3/5/21. Great guys, honest service. Highly recommend. I made a 3pm Saturday appointment at this (Lee's Summit) Meineke location for front brake pad replacements. Upon realizing they closed at 4pm, I called to see if they would be able to complete the job in that time frame. Whoever answered the phone didn't come right out with a yes or no, instead he abruptly asked if any pricing had been discussed. I said I was figuring somewhere in the neighborhood of $250, the AVERAGE cost per axle for parts & labor. His reply was "Where did you get THAT (price) from? I always do my homework before making any decision(s) on 100 (plus) dollar expenditures...especially those involving individuals who (nine times out of ten) automatically assume I have zero clue about what I'm coming to their business to spend my money on, and what the ballpark cost is. Not that they have to abide by that ballpark cost, but it sure as hell factors into the decision to take my business to one of their (reputable) competitors who DO keep their prices reasonably within that range. *Excluding any further issue(s) that would bump up the cost* the average price for standard front brake pad replacements on a 2013 Honda CRV is pretty darn consistent across multiple sources, and is also backed by a legit mechanic friend. I was told: "You're going to want to add another hundred to that" without so much as a single question about my car, nor anything about the state of its brakes (ie. how they are responding/what they sound like) to assess the possibly of any other problem that would justify the substantially higher price than I was expecting. So at the end of the day, I don't know if $350 is what Lee's Summit Meineke charges for ALL standard 2013 Honda CRV brake pad replacements, or if that's only a price they attempt to foist off on anyone deemed to be clueless. Either way...fwiw coming from a stranger on the 'net...I would HIGHLY recommend shopping around (even better, after researching your vehicle(s); particularly the average cost range for common repairs in your market.) I was quoted $220 from one of their competitors after I decided against Meineke following that phone call.

I made my appointment online, the corporate office sent me a coupon for $24.99 full oil change, I also called the place and verified my appointment, they said nothing until I got there and we're getting ready to start my oil change and then said if your looking for your coupon your waisting your time we don't honor the $24.99 oil change and neither does any other locations as far as I know. Corporate shouldn't have posted that with oil prices on the rise! It cost me $42.99 for my oil change! Service: Oil change

I was having trouble locating a shop that could fit me in to replace my alternator, specifically because we're a one car family, and I'd have to sit and wait for it. Not only were they able to do the repair that day and have it ready by lunch, but Mike was kind enough to give me a ride home and back, and made the whole process as smooth as it could be.
