Great place for Sunday lunch. Today's special included a choice of fried chicken or open face roast beef with green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, and peach cobbler with ice cream, so for $10.50. Food was good and very filling.

We had dinner with some dear friends who had recommended Gateway Cafe. My guy loves catfish and said of all the places we've been, Gateway had the best. If it doesn't need tartar sauce or any other condiments, it's excellent fish! Their portions are absolutely perfect, and it was clear that my fried potatoes were hand cut, my chicken fried chicken was hand breaded & the gravy was homemade. The food is amazing! Their staff is incredibly courteous & sociable! And everything is perfectly priced for the delicious meals they serve! We'll definitely be returning!

If you love good home cooked food this is the place for you. I’ve eaten there three times in the last month and everything has been wonderful! The food, the service and the staff are top notch. They are so friendly and their cinnamon rolls are a must try if you go there. I’m so glad to have this great family restaurant in our area. Keep up the good work, Gateway!!! 😍😍😍

Tabitha is amazing and Paige is kind. Todd the owner is fabulous and they all deserve five stars. I dine here and the service is great!!! Kenzie gives this place an 100 stars!!! Gannon loves the French dip and Angela says you gotta try the cheesecake. Do yourself a favor and stop by here. Tabitha is an awesome server.

This is a really good country kind of cafe. If you're looking for country cooking, you'll like it. The hand pounded and battered pork tenderloin is great as a dinner entree or as a sandwich. Friendly atmosphere. Expect the owner to come by your table and check on things.

This was a delightful experience! I understand that they just recently opened after rebuilding because of a fire. They have a nice menu. Fair prices and good portions. Everything that everybody ate was declared to be delicious. I have maple glazed chicken with bacon and cheese with mashed potatoes and corn and salad. The rolls are fresh and all of the food was good. One of my friends had a hamburger and another had meatloaf, which they enjoyed. The desserts are fresh made on the spot and so good! One of my friends and I each had apple pie and the other had pecan pie. He said the pecan pie was good and not too sweet, which is hard to find with pecan pies that are usually sickly sweet. The only thing I could say is they could serve a little more ice cream with their pie, but the flavors were wonderful. My apple pie had cinnamon in the Apple mixture and in the top crust! Quite delightful. I came in with a guide dog, and our server was even kind enough to wrap up a piece of bacon and give me it so that I could hand it off to her later. She got it in the car and we both say a huge thank you to Rylee for great I definitely hope to go back there. They also have a little shop with local honeys and handmade jams and other items. I didn't stop in there but my friend said she found many things that she felt looked wonderful. #accessibilityreview I can't tell you anything about the bathrooms, as I never used one. There is handicap accessible parking. There is also a little ramp so that you could avoid the curb. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for my guide dog. There was decent space between the tables to move around. This can be important if you have any kind of adaptive devices or service animals.

So disappointed service was awful don’t believe the waitress we had even knew how to wait on tables took forever to get our food main dish arrives but we never got our salads had to ask for them no refills on drinks had to ask some other worker which they refilled my ice tea with hot tea and no ice asked for a glass of ice never came finally ask some one else for a glass of ice very frustrating wanted to enjoy a meal with my family and was stressed the whole time several of the meal were wrong when they finally did come after 30 min food was good remodeled restaurant looks very nice I would wait to try this place for a few months maybe they will get it together I will try again but after a few months. Hopefully they will improve

It was our first time dining in at the Gateway Cafe. Our waitress Samantha was very good. The food was really good and you can taste that it was homemade. We live 40 minutes away but that doesn't matter. For good homemade food and good atmosphere we will be coming back.

If you haven’t been here you need to change that! Since the reopening, the place has changed a lot and it’s completely beautiful inside and out. The food we had for lunch was awesome, and the service was great. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have such a wonderful place to eat so close to home ♥️
