High cholesterol is making me starting to eat healthier so tried tropical smoothie and they have a lot of selections! The girl working was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped me pick a couple of great selections. Price range was medium let anywhere you go to eat nowadays seems expensive to me. The bathroom is one of the cleanest bathrooms I have seen at a restaurant and smelled amazing! This will be my go to store for sure!

I go here a lot. I have changed my review to this. Normally it's good. Today it tastes like sanitizer or cleaner. Got the same Thai wrap I usually do. It's cut where I can't eat it. The wrap part is stale not toasted but stale. The smoothie part was good only reason for the second star .

I am very disappointed in the experience that I had today. I walked in to your establishment and greeted the workers with a smile, all I got back was a scowl from a worker. When I went to tell her my order she acted like I was an inconvenience I did not get a thank you after giving a 15% tip. The smoothie was good but it didn’t tasted as if it was made with love as the sign says, I was disappointed.

Every tomato on my sandwich was the end peace. The turkey was just folded in one chunk in the middle. And there was no bacon at all.. I dont use the end peace of the tomato at home on my own sandwich. I did not enjoy my sandwich at all.

Sadly, this place is going downhill. I never used to have an issue, but the past couple times I ordered delivery, I received less than half of my order. The first time, the manager was super friendly and reimbursed me for my order. This time, the employee said her manager would get back with me tomorrow or whenever she can… it can’t be that difficult to reimburse me for only getting 1/4th of my order. I shouldn’t have to pay $20 for just a sandwich. I used to be a regular at this place and I can say now I won’t be coming back. The owner seems awesome. I hope they figure out their customer service issues.

I was double charged for a meal. I was told I was crazy and I hadn’t paid for it at all. I have spent two weeks trying to get a refund for the second charge. I was spoken to very rudely by the store manager and the owner won’t even acknowledge the issue. I have offered you show bank statements showing the second charge and was told it was just a temporary hold, even though that was two weeks ago and my bank says it’s hard posted. Please use caution using your debit card here. I know glitches happen and I wasn’t upset until no one is willing to acknowledge or fix the issue.

Very disappointed in this location off Independence. When I walked in both the employees where in the back and walked out but didn’t say anything. They disputed over who would help me. I wanted their monthly specialty item (Caprese Grilled Cheese) it’s been the same monthly special for over a month now but the girl didn’t know what it was until I pointed out the large sign they have. I paid for my drink and food. The girl made my drink but then had to go to the back to get the guy to make my sandwich and he made it wrong. Neither one of them was very polite and seemed to be upset that I came in and they had to work. When I went back in there was a different employee there but the same girl. Again no one said anything to me until I started talking they just stared at me and the new employee was chewing gum.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe: Great little place if you’re looking for a potentially healthier alternative to ice cream or if you’re just a smoothie fan. Their Food (sandwiches and wraps) are great, tasty and delicious! The service is always fast unless they’re backed up which can happen sometimes in the afternoons. Love this place👌🏻
