Just had to stand in the doorway for 10 minutes waiting for a cart at the store. Only one cashier and the store is full of people. 1:00 on a Sunday afternoon.

Kroger store brands always very reliable & best value compared to other store brands. Staff have been courteous, helpful & efficient when I'm there. No chronic shortage problems on anything I shop for & they've held the pricing down on groceries more than other grocery stores I shop.

The shelves were stocked well and store was clean some aisles were cluttered with merchandise to put on the shelves. Good bargains on sweet potatoes 25 cents a Pound! I bought the last two egg now cartons of ice cream.

It's hit and miss on not only items but the staff as well, most are fine, some employee s don't seam very happy working there.

Great place for food especially if you are a college student!(Don’t get me wrong) But the reason for the low rating is the poor customer service. My family and I were just there and we had about 15 items on our way to the checkout line. Once we paid for our items we went to grab the shopping cart the lady had put our items in but she yanked it out of my brothers hands and told us we weren’t allowed to take “her cart” that she put our food in! So we had to carry our items out(not a big deal). And few days before that my older siblings were there buying beer, they both are over 21 and had ID on them yet she wouldn’t sell them beer because she didn’t believe they were over 21. (This is Ruler Foods on the St. Charles Rock Road)

Based upon minimal frills (no bags provided, need to do your own bagging) and variable selection, would give 3 stars, but the prices are good, and this is the only Kroger family chain in town, so +1 and 4 stars.

The prices are generally lower than ALDI or SaveALot, & the variety of merchandise does differ. Good combination for saving $$. 😊
