I recently bought a 2011 BMW from Shari at Richardson's Auto Sales. After test driving the car with no issues and deciding to purchase it I went to the bank to take out the money while she brought the car to get an inspection sticker. After signing the paperwork and starting the vehicle I noticed the check engine light was on. I got Sherry and she brought out a code scanner to see what was going on. After seeing that the codes were timing related I told her that I would not be driving the vehicle and she was immediately apologetic and offered to bring the car to her mechanic the next morning at no cost to me. I thanked her and after her mechanic could not diagnose the issue she had it brought to the dealership for further diagnostic testing. Once the problem was discovered she had the car towed back to her mechanic to complete the work which involved disassembly of the valve cover and replacement of the offending parts. Although the process took almost a week to get the car fixed, she covered the cost of the repair 100% and ensured that the vehicle was entirely good to go before I went back to pick it up. I was very pleased with her service and willingness to remedy the situation with no argument or issues. I understand that when buying a used vehicle sometimes things go wrong at unfortunate times, I have no doubt that's what happened here. I would not hesitate to recommend this business to anybody searching for a used car.

Love this place , family owned business run by father and daughter. Tons of nice cars, BMWS, Suvs. You can tell Richard and his daughter enjoy what they do, it's was good to have a business owner / salesperson treat you like an actual human.

I had an excellent engagement with Richardson Auto Sales, having worked with both Bruce and Sheri. Their lot is clean, and very low pressure / low intensity. Among their modest selection of used vehicles, they were all of good quality, cleaned and well maintained. My purchase was smooth, and without issue. If I were to comment on any possible way to offer a better experience, it would be only a desire for them to offer closing hours of 6pm to enable some to engage after work. However, I can appreciate that it would complicate the ability to get inspections performed on the cars.

I shopped around and drove a LOT of trucks.I have never had better service and bought a better used Truck like this in my LIFE.I can't say enough about this family, father and daughter team.Let face it,selling cars is a tough business. You can not please all of the people all of the time. It's all a risk,It's a risk for them when they buy their vehicles, and it's a risk for the buyer.YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR RESEARCH!You can not expect them to do it all. What you can expect is good and fair service ,and what I got was awesome service, and Sheri was great! I can't thank them enough for the wonderful Truck they sold me.It's a 2011 but it seems and drives like it's right out of the factory. I liked this place. The others weren't awful, but this place was professional, personable and right. Thanks again Bruce H Richardson Auto sales !!! PS...give your mechanic a raise.:)

Just browse through this company's inventory and you will shortly find out that everything is overpriced. I had sent an e-mail about an overpriced vehicle that I saw on-line and I would be willing to come look at it, however, I would not even consider the price that was on the tag for reasons that it was too large. Instead, he just came back and insulted me immediately. I would never buy a vehicle from this company and I have never even step foot on the lot. You can tell why they have such negative reviews.

I had a very good experience here. Shari the owners daughter was super friendly and patient with me and my wife as we were undecided on buying the vehicle we wanted. She took the time to explain their process for financing and what to expect. The atmosphere in her office was calm and inviting. Understandable about some people comments about their experience here but don't let it be the reason for not going in and checking it out. Believe me they will work with you if you let them. I bought a used 2013 Mazda CX-5 from Bruce Richardson Auto Sales and am very happy with the purchase. Bruce was very accommodating with several issues. I was buying the car from out-of-state and he held it for several weeks (for a deposit) on his lot while I sorted out financing and making arrangements for picking it up. While taking out an insurance policy for the car, my auto insurer flagged two ($400-600) insurance claims that hadn't appeared on the CarFax report. When I raised the issue with Bruce, he noted (accurately) that no serious damage would have resulted in such a small claim, then offered a $300 discount to pay for some painting some scrapes. There were a few hiccups when I went to pick up the car. I brought an OBD reader along to check the electric subsystems and it displayed a non-firing spark plug, which should have caused an engine sputter, but the car was riding smooth on the test drive. (Moreover, the car wouldn't have passed its emissions inspection had that reading been present.) When I expressed some concern for the OBD reading, Bruce made an exemption to the "as is" stipulation of the purchase agreement and said the dealership would cover the cost of any repairs that might arise from that issue (within a reasonable period of time). I've had the car for about two weeks now and already driven it 2,000 miles (including several 8+ hour days on the road) without incident. A barely road-worthy lemon wouldn't have made it that far, so I feel like I got the car I bought. Bottom line, you can never be certain a used car won't have issues lurking. If you want that assurance, buy something under factory warranty. As far as I'm concerned, Bruce Richardson runs a perfectly respectable used auto dealership with good prices and helpful service.

Beware to all buyers. Look somewhere else don't stop here don't even think about it unless of course you don't mind being taken advantage of. I recently purchased a home or from this so called dealership and to make a long story short I was told by the salesman/owner that he had gone through this vehicle from roof the tire. He said that there was a lot of time spent going through this vehicle to make sure it was in perfect condition. Well for starters The very next day I noticed there was a lot of play in the steering wheel comes to find out there was a broken universal joint in the steering column. The GM dealer I brought it to told me it was a good thing I brought it in because I would've lost my steering completely. Thanks Bruce. Also I am up to almost $1000 in repairs for the interior lights . Don't lights were not working but I didn't notice because I purchased a vehicle during daytime. There is a long list of things that I could sit here and tell you about but I'm just trying to get to the point. I should've went with my gut feeling when I first met this man but I win against my better judgment and bought it anyways. This vehicle should've never passed state inspection. But he's Dominican garage friend just threw a sticker on without even looking. I am going to be reporting this man to the Better Business Bureau and hopefully an investigation will be started for selling vehicles that should not be inspected. He spends a lot of time buying vehicles that look really nice I will admit they do look nice but he spends no time checking the inside. He made a statement to me that he had been doing this for 40 years so that means for 40 years he's been screwing people over and this is probably why he has such poor reviews from everyone. All I can say is this guy is very bad news don't buy a vehicle from him I wouldn't even buy as much is a stamp from him. He's overpriced and he'll lie right to your face. To be frankly honest with you I really can't Say how I really feel about him because Google would probably not approve my review but I think you get it.( I wish you all the bad luck in the world Bruce )I seriously hope that one of these days you do this to the wrong person.

I could go on and on about this guy. I left work early on a Friday afternoon to go check out vehicles out of state. I stumbled upon Bruce’s lot from passing and pulled in to check out some of his cars. To start things off, we pulled in and were never greeted. I walked up to his office to ask to check out a BMW. I asked simple questions, mileage, specs, history, etc. The way Bruce responded was as if I was beneath him. I was serious about a BMW and asked to test drive it and his response was “you can’t really go anywhere because of the traffic”. I came from out of state and it was raining, I’m considering buying a car from this man and he’s giving me a hard time for trying to test drive a $7K car. Mind you, I just test drove another bmw from a great dealership up the road about 15-20 minutes prior. Anyways, he grabs the keys and hops in the vehicle with us (which I honestly didn’t have any issue with), I didn’t go far just on the main strip because he made me feel criticized for asking to test drive a car in the first place. I probably drove a mile or so. Car was in okay shape inside, didn’t appeared detailed, and the brakes were skipping. When I asked about the brakes he said it was rust from the rain due to the car sitting during the week and it would go away. He was very mean and arrogant with his responses. So I left and went back across state lines to check out another vehicle. The next day, I drove back down as I wanted to check out some other cars in the Derry area and also wanted to test drive his car again, specifically take it on the highway. I pulled into his lot, again not greeted, knocked on the door and he waved me in with a smirk from his desk. His way of greeting me was “didn’t think I’d see you again, thought you were going to buy a car back home” I explained I did look at another vehicle but it had been tinkered with and I wanted to test drive the car I drove the day prior (for about 10 minutes) again. He crossed his fingers put them behind his head, leaned back in his chair with a grin on his face and said “why...you already drove it” LOL. He was avoiding letting me drive the car again which is absolutely absurd Considering this is a purchase of $7k and I drive the car for 10 minutes. He continued to be wise and this is only about 60 seconds in, where at this point we said what ever and walked away when my father said “no wonder why you get such bad reviews” and Bruce reply’s with “because I deal with A******s like you”. This is a business man. I am in sales myself and would never ever treat a client or customer like this guy does. Anyone even considering buying a vehicle from this place, simply don’t. The reviews speak for itself. He preaches about being in business for however long but he was just straight up rude. I didn’t need to finance a car, I had cash, I don’t write many reviews but I am doing one on this guy because if it prevents one person who is even just considering buying a vehicle from Bruce Richardson then I did my due diligence. This guy doesn’t service cars or anything. Read the reviews people, they are accurate.

Avoid, avoid, and avoid some more. The word 'quality' does not belong in the title, to start, because that is exactly what this place lacks. My name is Dan Sylvia and I recently financed a 2001 jeep wrangler through this dealership. I was sold an 'as is' but state inspected vehicle. I've now had the vehicle less then a month, 23 days to be exact, and it's already sitting in my driveway incapable of being driven thanks to a bad starter. Furthermore, an evap leak supposedly fixed by the 'go-to' garage of this dealership set off the engine light again, indicating it was most certainly not properly fixed. The jeep is still without an inspection sticker, as it was when I drove it off the lot, because they desired me to drive it around to reset the computer before it would pass inspection. Now when the check engine light returned with the same problem they were supposed to have fixed, you can imagine the lack of trust I felt toward this dealership and his garage. Further looking into this dealership I discovered multiple yelp reviews indicating that he was a con artist, known to try and screw people over! When I discovered this I refused to bring the jeep to his garage, but instead to one I could TRUST. Before I could even get it to a garage I could trust, in order to properly inspect it, the starter went. I called Richarson Auto to ask that it be picked up and towed due to the fact it was technically in breach of contract due to being un-inspected. The owner screamed at me, hung up on me, and even when I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau he told me "I don't care, I've been in business 40 years." Sounds like quality customer service, right? Furthermore, the last time I spoke with the man he told me he would "No longer be answering my phone calls." Have I also mentioned that I PAID $8,900 for this jeep? I encourage anyone looking at a car from this man to run as fast as you can the other way, before you end up in a situation like my own where I have now had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the NH department of Justice Attorney General's Consumer Complaints Department, and now possibly even having to pursue even further legal action. Don't make the same mistake I did by purchasing a car from 'Quality' (Yeah right) Richardson Auto Sales.
