Went here for Sunday Brunch and it was good! The indoor layout was cute. Old classic furniture everywhere it felt like eating in someones vintage house. They had a deal with $4 mimosas going on when we went, so that was fantastic. My food was alright and the service was very nice. Its a good spot to try atleast once if in the area!

I really liked this place, the vibe was laid back and staff extremely personable and friendly with prompt service. We went on a busy Saturday afternoon and sat outside near the creek. All in the party were happy with their meals, including an 8 year old who had a large serving of chicken fingers and French fries. I had the Goat Cheese Salad which was very good and too large to eat it all. Others with me had the tuna melt and the asparagus sandwich with no complaints. The truffle fries are amazing! We had no room for dessert but everything in the case looked delicious!

I went here last week for lunch with coworkers and it was so good! I had a burger with truffle fries which are the best fries on the planet... and the lemon bar pictured for dessert. So good! 😍

I had a really good time. Even though my companion's steak was cooked incorrectly, they took care of it immediately and gave him a free dessert. And I immediately stole his free dessert. Both of our meals were absolutely delicious and I'm looking forward to an opportunity to be able to return.

Robin's Nest is incredible, warm and friendly establishment located in the vintage parts of Mt. Holly. This American establishment provides wholesome meals & professional hospitality through out. With the restaurant's identity being a home they serve out of, it's not wonder why they strive to keep every patron welcomed. The food was plentiful and the drinks were pristine. The reasoning behind the almost five stars is the wait time. Given the labor storage, I truly could understand however a two hour dining experience for American plates is not warranted. My recommendation is to not open the second floor to patrons therefore focusing all manpower to the lower level. There would be times I didn't see my server for 25mins. He tried his best but to physically go up stairs and move around could be too much for anyone! Until the labor storage is solved, that would be the best method forward. Other than that - I would love to return!

Wanted to like this place. It has an Early America vibe which some may find endearing. Comfort: Seats were a small bare wood bench, which make you hurt after 15 minutes in them. 2 top table was wobbly which made everything annoying of course. We were sat right next to a noisy kitchen in a relatively low population restaurant, which was fun. There is old hardwood floor so sound is magnified. Imagine being next to a kitchen like that? For me the interior just felt depressing. Also, I've never seen chefs come in and out of the kitchen before. As if they were servers or bussing tables. Usually that means a strange process or nonchalant staff. To the informed it screams mismanagement, as they were not speaking directly to customers to encourage them. Service: Server was a stoic woman who didn't engage in much small talk. Which would have made the interior feel more inviting and accepting, if she would have been more involved. Rustic places need a rustic down to earth staff to me, it makes all the difference. She was going through the motions of us, more interested in prepping for the real money at dinner service. I left a 20 on a 50 check to aid her education in that failed logic. The hostess did give me a 10 dollar off coupon for the next visit for apparently no reason, I didn't complain at all. Was she aware? 🤷🧐 Food: Well, maybe it was because it was lunch but pretty much all frozen microwave meals. The brisket was 100% microwaved which was a big letdown as it was a higher priced meal. The menu wasn't terribly big, so I had hope that they excelled at their chosen dishes. I was told the brussel sprout appetizer was good, but I didn't feel brave enough to climb into that mess. Conclusion: The bakery items looked top notch. Maybe go there for the baked goods? Don't touch the menu, microwave at home instead for the same result with a chair that has a cushion. 👍 This is probably a family business-handed down or something. The owner is just going through the processes and using it to pay the bills. Hopefully some passion and some money get infused into this business to make it right.🤞🤞It could be cute!

Amazing staff and food each time! My daughter wanted to try dessert and we forgot our take away box. Came back 10 minutes after leaving to find out it was thrown out. However, staff kindly replaced our entire dessert. Don’t skip on these desserts. They’re amazing.

Very nice authentic place. It's 33 years old restaurant (as of 2021). The food is very delicious. I'm vegeterian and they have very good vegeterian selection. Portions are big. Personal and service is excellent. Choise of desserts is huge. They have seats inside and outside (next to the river). For sure I will go back to visit them again.

Tonight was our first visit to the Robin's Nest. We are new in town and enjoying getting to know the area as we stop into the various stores and places to eat. Tonight we ordered the wings, french onion soup, mango soup, shrimp tacos, brisket tacos, lemon bar, and espresso roll. First off, we had been told by someone that portions were small - FALSE! As you can see in the photos there was plenty of food to be had, the prices were extremely fair. Luckily, we had not eaten much throughout the day and walked in plenty hungry. The soups were delicious and the wings were certainly something I'll order to go after work on a regular basis. They were perfectly crispy and the sauce was perfect. The tacos... Well they were mouth watering good. Desert was good - we preferred the espresso roll over the lemon bar. The roll was sooooooo perfectly done in a magical way. Overall the service was excellent, food came quickly and was plenty hot & fresh, and the prices were exceptional. We will without question be back to this place and it's 100% going to be where we take all our friends and family when they come to visit us in Mt Holly.

It’s been many years since I’ve eaten at Robin’s Nest. I’m not sure why my wife and I waited so long. Everyone loved their sandwiches and burgers. I started with a house salad and we shared a hummus sampler that contained three different types of Hummus (red pepper, caramelized onion, and lemon-garlic.) The Hummus was great, though there weren’t nearly enough pieces of pitta, celery, and carrots to go around. I had a Beef Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and ketchup with fries. The fries, IMHO were substandard. But, those of us that had the sweet potato fries thought they were very good. Surprisingly, we were all too full to order a desert. Their deserts looked absolutely delicious and positively gigantic, but I guess they should be, at a cost of $8 a pop. Robin’s Nest also has a very nice outdoor eating area, most of it under a tent. Another part of the outdoor area is uncovered and overlooks the Rancocas Creek. Our party of six wasn’t able to take advantage of outdoor seating due to threats of severe thunderstorms. The restaurant, including the restroom was very clean and was staffed with very friendly people. They also sport a large banquet room on the 2nd floor. This restaurant is worth traveling a little further for because of its delicious food.
